"Ammi!" My little daughter was hiding behind me.
Her tears didn't stop and her tiny hands had clutched me from back.
She was scared to look at the only man, she had ever loved. Her father....
Unfortunately, he's my husband. The man, I loathe the most in this entire world.
"You vixen, today I'll really beat you to pulp" The man growled moving forward.
What got him angry again?
I didn't know but this was not something new. It happened almost everyday... Not all day but yes, everyday. The man before me was really unpredictable.
His rage was like a blazing fire and it had already damaged everything good... including me.
I quickly took my little girl to her room which was to the left and locked it before this man does something terrible with his own daughter.
"Please... Calm down..." I tried again.
"WHORE... DON'T TRY TO TELL ME WHAT I WANT TO DO." He crashed a plate on the floor.
I shrieked out loud.
More than his actions, his words had so much of venom in it.
Every moment was dreading me. I feared for my daughter whose sniffing was still audible to my ears.
Before I could say something, he threw a glass vase near my feet and a part of it pierced my skin.
I gasped.
"Have you gone insane?" I half yelled at him as I saw blood oozing out of my left foot.
I glanced at him.
There was nothing in his eyes... except for pure hatred and indignation.
"YOU JUST SHUT UP, BITCH." He threw another plate on the floor crashing it into pieces again.
I flinched.
"But..." I couldn't complete as his loud roaring voice echoed in the entire house.
"That's it Rabia... I DIVORCE YOU... I DIVORCE YOU"
"Wha..." My voices turned hoarse, my body went rigid.
Hearing the same word getting repeated twice by him stunned me.
I turned to face him. Anger was all over his face...I couldn't comprehend whether I heard it right or not.
But he didn't even hesitate to repeat it again for the third time.
"I divorce you...."
And finally it felt like the ground beneath me slipped away making me fall somewhere I didn't even know.

Hello Readers, I hope you liked the prologue?
First of all this is the new book, I was talking about.
This was the book, I wanted to write before 'Somebody to Love' but I wasn't sure whether I would be able to provide justice to this kind of story but eventually I gave in.
This is not a simple romantic story but the concept is completely different from the books, I mostly write....
Those who are looking for some cliché... It's not the case with this book...
Please lend your love and support too.
Thank you
