Chapter 9

Rudy avoided the subject of me going home at all costs....

Anytime I tried to bring it off, he would change the subject. It's not something I really wanted to talk about either, but we both needed to face the reality. I was afraid that this was going to cause an argument, so I just left the topic alone. I didn't want him to be more upset than the both of us undoubtedly were.

However, that didn't last long. We were all hanging out in the living room, bullshitting around when Maddie C brought the subject up.

"So, what's going to happen when you go back y/n?" she inquired.

"Can we not talk about this?" Rudy snapped, all of our eyes widening at the blonde.

"I was just going to say we could have her come out here for long weekends, or we could come to her house." Maddie C mumbled.

"What do you not understand about what I said?" he boombed.

"Woah, babe." I spoke, shaking my head at him.

"Chill dude," Chase said, putting his arm around Maddie.

Rudy stomped out of the room, furiously raking his hands in his hair. I didn't follow, knowing if it was me I'd want some space to cool off.

"Sorry Madds," I whispered.

"It's not your fault, he acts like he's the only one that will miss you. Anyways, do you think what I said sounds good?" she asked.

"Sounds like a plan to me, my class load is going to be high this semester so I won't be able to visit a lot. My hours will be cut way down at work as well so I won't have a lot of money." I sighed.

I shook my head at her, chuckling at their insistence to pay for me. It made my heart clench a little at not being able to see them every day like I had been for a whole month. It's only for a few months though, more than likely I'd be spending my spring break here.

I went to find Rudy, discovering him sitting out by the pool. He had his head in his hands, moving them to rake his fingers through his hair. I put my hand on his shoulder, he whipped his head around to face me.

"Ru, you knew we couldn't put this off until the day I left." I whispered.

He turned in his chair, pulling me to stand closer. His hands splayed on my hips, keeping his grip tight on them. His head went to lay on my stomach, my hands curling in his blonde locks.

"I don't like not thinking about not seeing you every day. I want to be with you all the time." he mumbled, moving his hands to curl around my thighs close to my ass.

"It's my last semester of college, we can figure everything out after. You'll have me my whole week of spring break, and probably all summer. Weekends I'm off I can come here, or you can come to my house." I murmured.

"Yeah I guess you're right, I shouldn't have snapped like that." he spoke, sighing deeply.

I tilted his head back, kissing his lips softly. He smiled, puckering his lips for another one. I giggled, leaning back down to give him another kiss.

"You won't find another guy will you?" he asked, his eyes searching mine.

"You're it for me Ru," I grinned, nuzzling my nose to his.

"I feel the same, we'll talk everyday right?" he pouted.

"Of course, I have a big course load this semester. But, I'm happy to get it over with." I sighed.

"I'm so proud of you baby...working basically full time and being a full time student? It's remarkable, it makes me horny." he beamed, I shoved his chest playfully.
