"Peter, long time no see," Christian looked at his old friend, or more like the famous guy he knew in school back that.
"Long time no see," Peter shook his junior's hand and realized that Christian was not the same person that he used to see him as. "How have you been doing? Heard that you and Aaliyah have just engaged, right?"
"You know what bruv, let's sit down by the coffee table and chat about this," Christian looked like he took more initiative now. He gestures and escorted his guest to the coffee table and immediately went to the coffee machine. "Any kind of coffee you would like?"
"An Americano? More water though." Peter replied, twirling his phone around as if it was a Beyblade.
"Alright then, give me a few minutes, then we talk."

Gwen Hunter was actually not with her friends Peter would know about, not like how she told Peter, but more like she was with an old friend that Peter probably forgot about.
A bubble tea cafe in north LA.
"How's the bakery doing in New York? Heard that you guys are gaining fame ever since that journo came to interview you." Julian Alvarez (Pronounced Hu-lian), the kid with the surname as to his senior, placed two bubble milk teas on the table.
"It's been fine, I guess," She poked her straw into the cup, stirred it a bit before she started sipping into it. "How about you? Still on your chase in finding the best girl you would ever lay your eyes on?" She throws a jab at her junior, two years younger than her.
Knowing this kid as the ever-open kid to anyone he sees, he used to entertain her with stories about his life that she'd reckon would be better off in some kind of K-drama or some sort.
She'd remember of all the times he told her, from the drummer girl all the way till a forbidden romance, sometimes she would think it would be best if he continued on his studies.
Well, he didn't. Where was he now?
Working as an aspiring singer and musician after dropping out of college, he is right now. His teachers were right that he dropped out, but wrong in the other aspects on what he could be doing by now.
"Harty ha ha ha, laugh all you want," He threw a smug glance back at her. The 26-year-old caressed his guitar properly, knowing that he was going to perform here any second by the recommendation of a friend who was working there.
In his heart, he was hiding something from her. Although he thought she wouldn't realize, she could tell by the twitch of his right eye, right under the scar.
Hey, she wouldn't call him her Padawan if she didn't know everything about him. (Well, close to everything.)
"Although then again, you're not wrong. I still am at the crossroads of searching for the best one after my numerous escapades of women that you either despised or knew that I had exactly no chance with."
She was thrown into a fit of laughter with that remark. Sure, he knew how to make women laugh, but not how to capture a girl's heart.
"Alright then, so what are you here to talk about, to be honest?" Julian wanted to get into the immediate, knowing that he might be called up anytime soon. As soon as he said that, he saw her knit her hands together, which was Gwen language for her being absolutely nervous for some kind of reason that he did not know of.
"You do know that Peter and I are still dating, right?"
"Yeah, Prom Queen and Prom King of 2020 as the best double we've ever seen that are still dating even 11 years later," He teases her back, actually impressed that they took the relationship that far.
