Finally, after a week in the storm, the rain ceased and the clouds began to fade away. And without the sheet of cover, the Dawn Treader lookouts spotted land once more.

"I doubt the lords stopped here, my liege." Reepicheep yelled towards Caspian's boat. "There's no sign of anything living."
"Right," Caspian called back as he, Edmund, and two other men rowed their boat. "Well, once we get ashore take your men and search for food and water. The four of us will look for clues."
"Hang on, I think you mean the five of us." Eustace piped in. Everyone on the boat turned to look at the blond boy with a face that read really?
"Come on, please." Eustace sighed. "Don't send me back to the rat."
"I heard that." Reepicheep warned in a low voice.
"Big ears." Eustace mumbled.
"I heard that too." Reepicheep looked back to the approaching sight island. The crew chuckled.

Once ashore, the crew began unloading all of what they brought.
"Look, we aren't the first ones here." Daria walked towards a large, sharp rock that had a rope tied to it.
"The lords?" Edmund rushed over.
"Could be." Daria shrugged. She leaned over and grabbed a smaller rock, tossing it down the hole.
"What do you think could be down there?" Caspian said from behind the Lynx woman.
"Let's find out." Daria smiled mischievously. She went to grab for the rope, but the king quickly grabbed her around the waist and flung her around away from the hole.
"I don't think so." He said as he placed her back to the ground.
"What? Why not?" She groaned. "Come on, it's a harmless island full of rocks." She pushed past him to get back over but he held his arm in front of her.
"Darling, please." He mumbled. Edmund and Lucy shared a glance, one that spoke many words.
"Alright." She backed down.

Edmund went down first. Walking around, he found a clear water lake with a statue laying on the bottom.
"What's that?" Caspian asked as he walked over.
"I don't know." Edmund glanced at his friend before looking back down. "Looks like some sort of gold statue."
"Gold statue?" Daria walked up right behind Lucy. Edmund shrugged and yanked a branch from the rock walls. He carefully walked to the edge and dipped the end in. Almost immediately, the wood creaked as it turned to pure, heavy gold.
Once it started to get down towards his hands, Daria jerked forward.
"Drop it!" She yelled as he yelped, tossing the now gold branch into the water.
"He must have fallen in." Caspian kneeled down.
"Poor man." Lucy walked forward.
"I think you mean 'poor lord'" Edmund pointed to the instantly recognizable shield the golden man carried.
"The crest of Lord Restimar." Caspian stood.
"And his sword." Daria pointed to the only non-gold item in the water.
"We need to get it." Caspian reminded. Edmund glanced around before unsheathing his sword.
"Be careful." Lucy warned as she and Daria stepped back.
