Her lady in waiting, a very kind and loving older lady named Rosie, said she looked wedding ready. Even if she didn't feel it.

When getting home from the three year expedition, the Narnian's were shocked to see that Caspian had a woman on his arm, or more likely, she had him on hers. And even bigger an uproar, that she was a 'lowlife barmaid' and not an educated, sophisticated woman as his suiters happened to be.
However, after a month or two in the kingdom, and getting to know the people, they fell for her too.
When it came out that Caspian had asked her to marry him, everyone was excited for the two.

Now, after another month of planning, it was finally time to hitch the knot. And Daria was very, very scared, to say the least. She had never imagined ever marrying anyone, let alone the king of narnia.
When she got word to Argoza, he was very excited for her. He had always been an exceptional man, an even more exceptional father. He got on the next ship to Cair Paravel and was quick to re-connect with Caspian. The two men seemed to get along very well.

As last touches were being made, Daria's hands started to shake.
"What is it, my lady?" Rosie placed her soft hand over the Lynx woman's rough one.
"I'm scared." Daria whispered with shaking breaths.
"You love him, do you not?" Rosie questioned.
"With all my being. I just never really liked a lot of attention." Daria confirmed. "And I heard everyone would be there."
"Well, you have nothing to fear. Just keep your attention on him, my lady." Rosie patted her hand and went back to her last touches.

Now, there was no turning back. Argoza was standing at the end of the walkway, his arm out for her to hold onto. When she got to him, he smiled at her brightly.
"You look ravishing." He complemented as they began walking. Daria chuckled.
"Thanks, you old fool." She joked.
The walkway seemed to go on for ages, but finally, with everyone's eyes on her, she made it to Caspian's side. Glancing over, she found him already staring at her, a smile hanging loosely from his lips as he gawked.
"We gather here today, as a celebration to join King Caspian X and Lady Daria Lynx in hand. If there are any oppositions, please stand now or forever hold your peace." The efficient started. The room went quiet, no one even breathed.
"Well then, we may continue." The man looked down at the book in his hands. "After meeting while on the sea, Caspian and Daria fell quickly into love. My King, do you take Lady Daria to love and respect, appreciate and assist, hold and cherish, for as long as you shall live?"
"I do." Caspian said without hesitation.
"And do you, My Lady, take Caspian X to love and respect, to appreciate and assist, hold and cherish, for as long as you shall live?" The efficient turned to the woman.
"I do." She said with the same determination.
"Well, with happiness, I now pronounce you husband and wife. Please, consummate this with a kiss." He smiled brightly.
Caspian turned to Daria, flipping the veil over her head before cupping her face and pulling her into a kiss.
The crowd erupted into cheers and the newly married couple smiled. Caspian placed his hand to the small of her back and dipped her. Daria laughed and kissed him again. She would always be thankful of the old fool for taking her in, and the fact she was a barmaid, and the fact the crewmen fell for her as fast as they did. Because without those factors, she was sure Caspian wouldn't have fallen for her. Caspian would always be thankful for Rian's insistence to stop for a drink in celebration, and that man for causing Daria's dramatic entrance, and Lord Argoza for trusting her with the sword that got her onboard. Because without those factors, he was sure Daria wouldn't have fallen for him.
Finally with a happy ending, Caspian and Daria were able to live together in peace, all the while becoming the kindest king and queen in Narnia's history.
