I called Mike, one of the care workers (my personal favourite), and explained to him that I fell and I need a lift. He arrived 5 minutes later. Mike was of average height, around 5'11 with grey hair. From what I knew he was around 50 but only his hair made him look it.
"Jay? Jay?!" he called
"Yeah" I replied weakly, I was in bad condition at that point. "Over here."
"Oh, God! Jay what happened?!" he questioned, "and don't lie!"
"Like I said I fell" I repeated
"You know what we'll deal with what happened later we have to get you to the hospital!" he gave in.
He helped me walk to the car and we rushed to the hospital. As soon as I knew I was safe I fell into unconsciousness.

I woke up to a very bright light shining directly into my face.
"Jay! You're awake!" Mike exclaimed, "thank goodness you're ok!"
"Yeah" I murmured still adjusting to the light, "How long was I out?"
"3 days. But the Doc said you'll be fine" he told me
"3! 3 whole days!" I was extremely surprised by that, I thought it had been a few hours at most.
"Just rest for a bit ok? whilst I find the Doc" he advised
"All I've been doing is resting!" I replied
"Touche!" after that he left leaving me to my thoughts.
So, I either dreamt/hallucinated the whole wolf thing or it was somehow real.
I started to think
Hm, if it was real it would explain the whole 'how I moved places' thing, but it's not possible. I can't just turn into a wolf. Well... I guess I might be able to... surely not... but maybe... just maybe.
I was interrupted by the doors being pushed open rather violently,
"Jay, I'm sorry I didn't know how far down the hill was." Sam blurted out.
"Uh- ok?" I was sure how I was meant to react to that. "I guess it's ok? at least you apologised..."
Mike and another man I guessed to be my doctor entered before Sam had any time to say something else.
"So, Jay... " the doctor started
"Jay, who's this?" Mike asked
"Uh, this is Sam, he's from school" I answered
"Are you friends? Have you made a friend?!" Mike excitedly continued
"I'm sorry, Sam, but you can't be here at the moment we have to discuss Jay's injuries." The doctor explained.
"Ok, bye Jay. See you in school," he said quickly before leaving
"Ok then Jay, you have 2 broken ribs, but they appear to be healing nicely so far. You also have a mild concussion and a broken tibia so you'll have to be on crutches." the Doctor continued, looking tired and fed up. "We'll keep an eye on you for a few hours and then you can go home." He looked at us seeing if we had any questions before leaving.
There was an uncomfortable silence before Mike spoke up and asked,
"How did this happen? The truth this time." with a small bit of assertiveness in his tone.
"Someone pushed me as a joke and I fell down the big hill in the woods. I hit rocks and stuff that's why things are broken." I mumbled
"Oh. Who was it I can get them to be punished by the school for what they've done, assuming they're in your school." he pushed on
"Uh, Sam and Micheal" I muttered
"Sam who was just here?!" he sounded surprised
"Yeah, he came to apologise, I wasn't expecting that. Micheal won't" I answered hoping he would drop the subject.
"I'll call the school now, they need to know so they can contact their parents." he continued
"No, Mike it's fine. Just leave it if it happens again I'll tell you." I concluded and tried to hint at the fact I didn't want to talk. He finally got the hint and dropped the conversation.

1 day later
I've come to the conclusion that I hate crutches. I used to think they were fun but not when you have to use them to go EVERYWHERE!
My hands were starting to get sore and I'd only been using them for a day. Thankfully I don't have to go to school and face everyone there for another week as I 'need to rest'. I've already run out of things to do so I decided to start researching what happened to me.
Shapeshifters: Are they real?
While many believe in them there is no scientific evidence to support the idea of people shifting into animals. There is also the question, is it actually possible? Professor Dodds says, "while it would be extremely difficult it just might be possible to rearrange certain anatomy but not in a way that you would turn into a normal-looking animal."
Ugh. You know what this is just dream-crushing. Was I hallucinating?
How to tell if you hallucinated something!
You have certainty about the uncertain. That's it. Do you have certainty about something that really can't be known? - Scott Adams
Ok, I guess I'm hallucinating then. It felt so real though and so right like it was meant to happen and I was meant to be an animal. I must just be desperately hoping for something interesting so I imagined it.
With those conflicting thoughts in my mind, I fell asleep wondering what the next days will bring.
A/N
Again if I've made any mistakes about the technical things please let me know.
Also, the "You have certainty about the uncertain. That's it. Do you have certainty about something that really can't be known? - Scott Adams" this part is actually a quote of Scott Adams as I had no idea what it would come up with if you searched up 'how to tell if you're hallucinating' so I looked it up and found hard to rephrase so I quoted this.
