"Right then come on, shift!" Matt urged, "... You can't, can you?" I shook my head shamefully. The trouble in progress lessons has been increasing rapidly and at this point, I didn't even think that I could shift. I had tried multiple times over the span of a week and not once had I shifted into my wolf form.

"Something troubling you?" he asked gently

"Yeah, the fact that I can't shift!" I answered impatiently

"Well apart from that,"

"No, nothing that I can think of" I replied honestly, what could be affecting me this much?! The dizziness and headaches? I mean I guess that's the only thing that's changed... "I mean I have been feeling dizzy for most of this week and have had some headaches - not the horrific ones, don't worry just 'normal' ones,"

"Hm, maybe Jane should give you a look over..." I gave him a confused look, who on earth is Jane? "Oh Jane's the head nurse, the one who looked after you before," he continued almost reading my mind.

"You really think there's something wrong with me?" I asked sharply, why am I acting so rudely again?

"I mean if you've been feeling dizzy and have had headaches for most of this week, yeah. It could just be a cold but better to be safe than sorry,"

"Okay then," I replied with a huff.

"Can't see anything obvious wrong with you, my dear, maybe you're just stressed?" Jane concluded.

"The only thing I'm stressed about is people worrying for no reason" I shot a glare at Matt, "plus there's nothing to be stressed about,"

"Okay, if you say so," she replied, "you can go back to your friends now," she added with a smile.

"Jane says I'm fine" I relayed to Matt my tone laced with annoyance.

"Well, I'm sorry for caring about your health! Go on back to Rhys then, try and figure out why you can't shift okay? It will impact your mood and health if you don't shift for a long period of time!" he shouted as I walked away.

As I entered Rhys and I's tent huffing before flopping down onto my bed and staring at the ceiling.

"Jay? You in here?" I heard Rhys shout from the other room before walking in, "Oh hi!"

I didn't reply earning a concerned look from Rhys, "You okay?" he asked worriedly

"Why does everyone keep asking me that? I'm not glass! I won't break if something happens!" I replied angrily

"Sooo, that's a no? And you're annoyed for some reason?" he analysed. Damn him, why can he never just leave me alone when I don't want to talk?! "By the look on your face, I'm gonna say I guessed right, wanna talk?"

I gave him an annoyed look and raised my eyebrows. "No then... ok. Hug?" he really doesn't wanna drop this does he... I continued my annoyed and confused look before he finally realised that I didn't really appreciate his company.

Ugh, now I feel bad... why do I keep reacting so meanly? I mean it's not like they're gonna be hurt by it but still, that's not how I would normally act and they know it.

I sat up putting my head in my hands and just thought for a while. Probably the first time since I'd arrived there that I just thought about everything that had happened to me from my first shift up until this point.
