I woke up shaking and breathing heavily, as usual, covered in my sweat, my mother's voice still ringing in my ears. I jumped at the feeling of warm arms snaking around me, I looked back and relaxed as soon as I saw it was Rhys. I looked at him slightly confused but still in shock from my dream,
"You looked like you could use a hug!" He shrugged quietly. I nodded slowly, I guess I did need a hug... now I can relax. Within minutes I felt the pull of sleep and gave in, falling asleep in Rhys's arms feeling very safe.

As I came to I managed to remember my situation before my body had time to react risking waking Rhys up. I cautiously looked behind me, careful not to move too much, what I saw - no what I thought after what I saw plagued my thoughts for the rest of the day. I looked back and saw him sleeping, he looks so cute, WAIT, WHAT? NO, I can't think like this! This is bad. I mean he doesn't know so maybe it's not that bad... I need to try and stop thinking this. This is the second time... first THAT situation happened now this... he's making it difficult not to think like this.
I was broken out of my thoughts when Rhys shifted suddenly. I looked back to see his eyes looking back at me clouded with tiredness.
"Mornin'!" he mumbled groggily still waking up, "you ok?" he must have noticed my weird looks
"Yeah, you? It doesn't look comfortable to have to sleep in that position," I replied
"It's fine..." he paused, "I don't mind anyway as I said before, only this time it's less soggy!" his tone picked up at the end as he woke up more.
"Uh, yeah thank you for that, I did need a hug even if I didn't know it," I added with a smile, "breakfast?"
"YEAH! I'm huuuuungry!" he shouted seemingly forgetting I was literally touching him making me cover my ears dramatically.
"Let's get ready then!" he clambered out of bed and rushed to the bathroom leaving me to my thoughts, why didn't I find that uncomfortable?! We slept in the same bed and neither of us seem phased, maybe I do like him... I can't though, that involves a lot of trust... I don't trust people. I snapped out of my thoughts and got up off the bed making my way to my wardrobe I felt a little dizzy. I grabbed onto the wardrobe door when the dizziness didn't stop and became worse.
"Let's get brekkie!" Rhys shouted as he appeared around the corner, "Woah, you okay there?" he lowered his voice, "headache?"
"No, not yet anyway, just really dizzy," I whispered back
"Ok, wanna sit back down?" he asked
"Yeah, thanks" I answered
"No problemo," he replied
He guided me back over to my bed and helped me sit down.
"I'm gonna grab you a glass of water, I'll be right back" he explained before disappearing for about a minute. "Here you go,"
I took a sip and thanked him again, luckily this seemed to help as my dizziness started to subside gradually until a point where it was almost unnoticeable. I then rushed to get my things together despite Rhys saying I could stay here for today if I was ill - which I wasn't!

"Jay! Jay! Are you paying attention young man!?" my usually lovely geography teacher shouted.
"Sorry, not feeling 100% today," I replied honestly
"Well sorry about that but can you please try and pay attention," she pushed
"Yes miss, sorry,"
A few minutes later I felt a nudge from Rhys and turned to look at him.
"You sure you're okay? Are you feeling dizzy again?" he questioned looking worried, wow he looks like a worried parent, well what I imagine one would look like...
"I'm fine! A little dizzy still yeah but I have been all day!" I answered
"Have you been drinking lots of water?" he asked,
"Yes I have, thank you, Mum!" I replied sarcastically
"Right so feeling good enough to be sarcastic that's good!"
"Boys!" the teacher shouted warning us, we knew better than to carry on.

I sat down for lunch and clutched my head, I had a headache forming - nothing like the other two but still annoying and painful enough to distract me from most things.
I saw Rhys about to say something but I spoke before he had the chance to, "Yes I'm sure I'm okay and yes I'm still dizzy,"
"How did y-" he started
"That's all you've been asking me all day!" I explained
"Oh," he looked stumped, "So, how were your guys' lessons?" he asked Clara and Josh as they arrived at our table.
"Good thanks! Oh and we have some news," she teased
"What news?" I asked excitedly, I had come to regard Clara as a good friend now, it seems all the lunches and hangouts did pay off after all.
"Yeah, you can't just say you have news and not tell it!" Rhys joined in.
"Josh and I are dating!" she exclaimed happily but quietly, clearly wanting this to stay between us four.
"Really? Woah that's cool, congrats guys! See Jay this is where you come in. If you weren't here I'd be third-wheeling all the time!" Rhys explained
"Nice to know that's my only purpose..." I replied with a fake scowl, "Congrats guys!"
Wasn't expecting that. I mean I don't really know them but Josh seems like an asshole to me. I guess it's just me judging our first impressions, he must be nice or Clara wouldn't be dating him.
"Jay, we've gotta go, mate," Rhys explained, "lesson..."
"Oh yeah sorry," I said smiling, "thinking,"
The rest of the day went pretty much as normal just with a few moments where the dizziness took over and I almost fell. Luckily Rhys noticed every time and made sure I didn't.
<<<<< >>>>>
"Ah, home sweet home!" Rhys sighed as we entered our tent after dinner, "how's the dizziness?"
"Fine," I replied whilst getting a knowing stare from Rhys, "I mean I guess it's a bit worse than earlier but it's not really bad, neither is the headache!" ah, he wasn't meant to know I had a headache... shit
"Headache? What headache!? Jay! You were meant to tell me if it got worse! You should have been back here resting!" he started his lecture, "You should be more concerned about it, what if it's another one of the headaches? the bad ones? You should get checked out by the nurse! I'll go and get her now,"
"Rhys, Rhys!" I shouted to get his attention, "I'm fine! It's just a normal random headache. The other ones all come on suddenly with no warning, this is different,"
"Are you sure? Like really sure?" he questioned further
"Yes! Now let's get some sleep," we both got changed and climbed into our beds. As soon as my head hit the pillow I started to fall asleep, exhausted for seemingly no reason. Just before I drifted off I heard Rhys whisper something, but I didn't quite catch it.
