I entered the tent and found Rhys alone writing in some sort of book. WAIT, is that a diary?! I didn't take him to be that sort of person... Oh well who am I to judge

"Hey Rhys," I said startling him a little

"Hi, where've you been? It's quarter to 9!" he replied

"Matt and I got a bit carried away in progress thingy or whatever it's called," I responded, "did I miss dinner?"

"Uh. I think we've still got 15 minutes until it shuts if you want to go now,"

I agreed and we started to make our way to the canteen.

When we got there I ran up and grabbed whatever I could find; a pie, mashed potatoes, broccoli and carrots.

We then went to one of the smaller tables as it was only the two of us.

"So, how did progress lessons go?" Rhys asked

"Uh, I don't have anything to compare it to so I'm not sure" I replied, "It was fun though"

"Well, did you shift? Did you manage to control your wolf instincts?"

"Yeah, I thought that was normal. We just went for a run and played around for ages until we got tired," I replied

"Woah, you're a natural," he responded ending the conversation looking like he was deep in thought.

We got back to our tent at around quarter past nine and both went straight to bed.

About 30 minutes of tossing and turning later I gave up on trying to sleep and looked across to Rhys who looked like he was in the same situation.

"Rhys?" I whispered

"Yeah?"

"You can't sleep either?" I asked quietly

"Nah, kinda annoying," he responded, "wanna chat? may as well as were both awake"

"Sure, what do you wanna chat about?"

"Not sure..."

We ended up chatting for about an hour about random things, we eventually grew tired and then the conversations started to end. We both fell asleep from exhaustion.

I awoke, breathing heavily again but this time not as rapidly. The dream was becoming less scary but it still shook me to the core every time I heard my Mother's scream.

"Jay? You alright? You look a bit pale," Rhys inquired

"Yeah sure," I replied absentmindedly, too focused on my dream to realise what he said.

"Uh-huh ok," he responded as I stood up to get ready, "Oh and all lessons apart from progress are off today. I don't know why but apparently progress is too important to miss!"

"Ok,"

I quickly got ready and we headed down to breakfast grabbing our food and rushing over to Clara and Josh. I zoned out for most of breakfast and only came back to reality when Rhys called my name loudly whilst waving his hand in front of my face.

"Jay?! Earth to Jay!!!" he shouted

"Yeah, sorry," I mumbled

"You ok?" Clara asked
