Calum
Moon turned on the engine and accelerated. She started driving through the town without saying a word, the music playing from the radio was the only noise made. I looked at her, so focused on the road but so peaceful at the same time, what I was even doing with her in a car right now? I don't fucking know her, she could be a killer or a phyco or God knows what, but I get in the car with her the second she asks me to. Being so curious will bring me problems one day. Because that was the reason I accepted, I'm intrigued by this girl called Moon and I met in London out of nowhere, I just want to know who she is.
-Why are you looking so much at me? Am I more beautiful than the views from your window? -She asked mocking.
-No. I mean, you're beautiful but that wasn't... -I took a deep breath.- I was thinking, not looking at you directly.
-You think I'm beautiful, Thomas?
-Everyone think you're beautiful.
-I don't want to know what everyone think. What do you think, Calum? -She asked again, looking at me. Her eyes were so blue, even bluer than Luke's, I like them.
-I do think you are beautiful, Moon.
-Thank you, you're cute too.
None of us said another word again all the drive. We had entered Beverly Hills, I didn't know what we were doing here, but I did not ask either. Every time we chat is like she knows how to turn the conversation perfectly so I say the exact thing she wants to know, I have no idea how she does that, but it's impossible for me to avoid anything she says.
After like ten minutes Moon parked in front of a pretty beautiful building, I didn't know what that was but I got out of the car anyway. I looked around and saw lots of plants and flowers, it seemed like somebody's house, honestly. I tuned to talk to the girl, what a surprise when she wasn't longer next to me and she already was on the front door about to enter. I hurried to get next to her and we both started walking, in silence, through a hallway that had a big door at the end that left in sight a huge, incredible, garden.
-Where are we? -She looked at me for a second and then focused back on the place.
-We are at the Virginia Robinson Gardens.
-Why? Can we even be here?
-Of course we can, it's a botanical garden. Let's take a walk, this whole place is amazing. -It was strange how her words expressed enthusiasm and her voice was the calmer and the most Zen thing I've heard.
We started walking and I looked at the statue in the middle of the fountain, then at the flowers and finally, again at Moon. She was so ethereal, it was so hard to connect with her and we seemed to, I normally say something she doesn't like, for some reason I don't know, and the conversation ends. I have to be really careful with my words with her.
-How did you discover this place? -I asked.
-I had a photoshot here some weeks ago and I fell in love with everything in here.
-Are you a model?
-No, I'm not, I just like to take pictures and all that stuff, I think is cool.
-You have a job or something, or are just focused in studying? -She stopped walking and looked up at me with an amused smile.
-Why so curious all of a sudden, Thomas?
-I don't know. You brought me here, we are walking in silence and I thought we could get to know each other a little.
-What do you want to know? -She said starting to walk again.
