It was the next morning and of course I was the first up. Just like old time God thinking back to Regionals, Nationals or even Internationals.. I was always the first awake purely down to being so on the ball and stressed "Hey" A voice said before coughing as they came into the room "No way, James is up before mid day?" I asked making her chuckle as he poured himself some coffee "Funny Ri" He said making me chuckle "I haven't heard that nickname in a while" I said smiling making him smile back
"You don't mind it do you?" He asked and I shook my head "Can I ask you something?" I asked and he nodding leaning against the counter I was sat at "What was going on with Jess last night, she seemed a bit off with me" I asked "I know I just met the girl but something seemed wrong?" I continued making James nod after taking another sip of his cut
"I don't really have an answer for you Ri, I asked her last night and she told me it was all in my head. I wouldn't worry about it though. She's just probably a little jealous" He answered making me look at him "Jealous of what?" I asked "You, she knows about us etc" He explained making my roll my eyes "We have been broken up for what? 8 years?" I asked and he nodded "God James, you know how to pick your women don't you" I teased making him narrow his eyes at me
"Hey I picked you didn't I?" He smirked making me chuckle "More like stalked her into she agreed" Eldon said walking in making the pair of us laugh "nice to see Jiley aren't as toxic as they used to be" Eldon teased "Alright Mr Love triangle" I said making him growl at me "I don't like this sassy Riley" He pouted making me laugh "Get used to it Elly" I said
Before either of us could say anything else, we were joined by Spencer "morning sweetheart" He said kissing my cheek as he passed me to get a coffee "Do you lovebirds have anything planned today?" Eldon asked sitting next to me "I don't think so?" I asked Spencer "I have a couple work things I need to sort out but I was thinking we could go out to dinner" He offered making me smile "Sure" I answered
"You'll have to show me around, we almost got lost just getting here" He chuckled kissing my cheek again "That's because you suck at directions" i said making him roll his eyes "Except sweetheart, who sits in the passenger seat giving me the directions?" He asked with a raise brow
"Do you want to go out for dinner or not" I asked making him chuckle "Of course" he said before we heard chuckles from the boys around us "I'm going to go sort work out, the sooner I do it that sooner it's over" Spencer said kissing the top of my head "Alright" I said "I love you" He whispered making me smile "I love you too" I answered making him smile before turning to the boys "I'll leave Riley in your capable hands" He said before leaving

We were all sat out in the back garden, it was pitch black out and Emily had the fire going. We were all waiting for Riley and Spencer to get back from their date They had been gone almost all afternoon "Go fish" Thalia said bringing my attention back to the game that the girls were playing It was nice to see everyone getting along so well. Minus the blip with Jess and Ri, it's all going smoothly
I sat back scrolling through Instagram when I came across Riley's post. I'm assuming they are on their way back if she has time to post it

She did actually look really happy with him, her smile is still just as contagious as it used to be "Look who's homeee!" Stephanie teased making me look up from my phone to see Spencer and Riley walking over hand in hand "How was the date?" Giselle asked making Riley smile with a small pinkish tinge to her cheeks
"It was nice thankyou" Riley said "What did you guys get up to?" Alex asked as he put his arm around Steph as she leant backwards "We went into town, exploring all the old places we all used to go" Riley smiled proudly "She showed me a lot of things, I'm not surprised you guys were so tight knit if you had so many spots" Spencer chuckled making me look at Riley
Riley and I had this certain part of the park that we would always go to just to escape everything and everyone. She wouldn't have taken him there right?
"It was a great night though" Spencer said kissing Riley's cheek as she giggled slightly cuddling up to him She was certainly in love with the boy
