Riley

"So it's boys and girls today" Hunter said as he joined us with Emily in the kitchen
"What?" James asked
"Well us boys need to go suit shopping" Hunter said
"And us girls are going dress shopping" Emily said making me instantly roll my eyes
"Riley" Emily warned me making everyone chuckle, Spencer wrapped an arm around me
"Want me to come with you guys? I mean I'm not a groomsmen so I don't need to be there?" He offered before both Hunter and Emily interjected
"No, you are coming with us I'm afraid pal" Hunter said patting his shoulders 

After a long talk over breakfast, the boys had set off leaving the girls and I to head to get dresses
"Riley, you need to have a dress slightly different to everyone else" Emily instructed making me nod
"what are your colours again?" Stephanie asked 
"Dusty Rose" Emily gushed looking through dresses
Trust Emily to get her perfect pink wedding 

We continued to look and try on dresses and honestly the whole experience was just as high maintenance as I thought it would be 
"Riley you look pretty!" Stephanie gushed after I tried on my twentieth dress
"What is it now?" Emily asked
"I don't like this" I said motioning to the slit in the leg
"I like it!" Giselle said and I shook my head 
"It isn't me, like at all" I said and Emily nodded in agreement 

Emily instructed me to go back in to try on the one dress I thought looked okay on the hanger
"Who knows Riles, in a little while we could be back here preparing for your wedding" Emily called making me roll my eyes as I put on the dress
"I doubt that" I said
"Why not?" Giselle asked
"Spencer and I haven't really spoken about it, plus marriage is just a piece of paper that does more damage then good" I said 
"Thanks!" Emily called making everyone laugh

I rolled my eyes once more before heading out of the dressing room
"Em, you've always wanted this big white princess wedding and you also know that it was never something I saw myself having" I said making her nod
"Riley" Giselle said
"I know I know, stuck in my old ways" I said making her shake her head
"I think you found your dress" She said making me look at her confused before noticing everyone around me smiling at me

Turning to look in the mirror I smiled slightly, the dress was beautiful 
"Why don't we all get that dress but just do it in a lighter shade to Riley's?" Giselle asked looking at Emily and Stephanie who both nodded before they went off to find a lighter shade
Emily came over resting her head on my shoulder

"I reckon you'll get married Riles, I just don't think it'll be something you expect" she said 
"Or who you expect" she muttered before walking away not allowing me to ask her what she meant

"Hunter, how many different suits do you need to try on, they all look the same" West groaned. We had been sat here for hours to the point even the girls had beaten us home
"Dude, remember who I'm marrying" he said before going back into the dressing room
I chuckled sitting down with Eldon, West and Spencer
"Imagine when we all get married, like this is just the start" Eldon said leaning back against the sofa
"We aren't the same teenagers we used to be" I said and they all nodded

"I mean no offence to you Spencer but I always thought the first wedding would have been Jiley" Eldon said and Spencer nodded
"honestly, from what I've heard.. I'm not surprised" Spencer chuckled 
"She told you about us?" I asked and he nodded
"Yeah she did" he replied with a smile
"and your good?" West chuckled making Spencer nod

"You are all a big part of Riley's life, including you James. Just because you two were serious and dated doesn't change that" He explained
"From what I've heard, there is no bad blood between you both" He continued
"So why should I have an issue?" He asked making me nod
"Dude I like him" West said making us all laugh as Hunter came out of the dressing room

"I told you that you would" He chuckled
"What do we think?" He asked looking in the makeshift mirror in front of us
"It's good" we all said in unison
"sorted" Hunter smiled
"Who do we think we'll be here for next?" Eldon asked
"I reckon Eldon and Thalia" Spencer said making me nod in agreement
"I dunno, I reckon you and Riley could give us a run for our money" Eldon said 

"Yeah you've been together for some time. When are you going to pop the question" Hunter asked and Spencer shrugged
"Riley doesn't like the idea of marriage" He explained
"Yeah, she's told me that too. Something about it just being a piece of paper?" I asked making Spencer nod

"I reckon for the right guy she would say yes" Eldon smiled making everyone else smile
"Oh yeah, for the right guy Riley would be up for anything" Hunter said with a gaze landed between both Spencer and I
