"Em, I'm okay.. I'm not going to do anything stupid, I just want to dance" I laughed as we both walked into The Next Step. Honestly, I'd gotten back into dance pretty recently and now with a this whole Spencer drama, it's been a good source of therapy
"Alright, you know where I am" She said and I nodded smiling as I walked into the Music room

Isn't it crazy how much has happened in here, I mean in this room alone I watched James cheat on me, I've cried a countless amount of times but this room also holds so many fond memories, from bubble wrapping James' Drums, dancing with James, messing around with J-Troupe.

Dance itself brought me a lot of memories, from meeting A-Troupe and everyone around us. Going to parts of the worlds I would always dream of, having countless opportunities at our fingertips from our International Win
The friendships I made in these studios are ones I will take to the grave
Sure some haven't been easy but nevertheless, I couldn't have asked for anything better

I smiled to myself before I started dancing, with every step, every beat everything came flashing back
Life was good back then no matter what happened 

As soon as I finished I smiled again..
This place is and always will be my home and the people I met along the way are and always will be my family

"Oh lookie who I've found" A voice said making my head jump around and my jaw drop at who stood in front of me
I scoffed a little closing my water bottle before running over 

"What are you doing her" I said hugging each of my friends individually 
"You didn't think you could get away with the breakup of the year without us popping in to check up on you" Matilda said smiling at me
"When did you guys get here" I said still in disbelief 

I met the girls, Matilda, Sammy, Ally and Neveah when I moved into my flat, they live in the building opposite and we would constantly see each other until the point they invited me in thus began the friendship of a lifetime

"Only just, we are only here for a day like we legit have to leave midday tomorrow" Sammy said
"some of us couldn't get the time off" She continued before sighing looking at Neveah
They both had strict jobs, I'm surprised that their days off lined up for the first time ever

It's been a long time since the girls and I got this dressed up, I mean sure we met up a lot but it was rare we would go out for the night
"Wooo look at you all!" Emily gushed as we walked downstairs
Everyone met the girls when we ended up at the rental after finishing at TNS - I offered the girls to stay here but they already checked into their hotel

"I feel like this is the first time I'd seen Riley dress like an adult" Eldon teased making me roll my eyes
Honestly, this felt like when your family are watching you leave for a first date 
"Now, no boys, no drinking, no nothing" Hunter said making everyone laugh
"Pleaseeee, Riley goes harder then any of us on a night out" Neveah said flipping her hair
"Yet she's the one who escapes without a hangover" Sammy said 
"I have my perks" I chuckled

I glanced over at James to see him smiling in my direction, part of me was wishing he was coming but like. I also think I need some girl time 
We'd gotten a lot closer since the break up and I just didn't want the desperation of being alone to force me into something I'm not ready for 

"Just be safe kay?" Hunter asked and I nodded
"Always" I said crossing my fingers
"Alright, call us when you need a lift home" Emily said hugging me
"I could get a taxi" I warned them
"No!" All of the boys yelled making everyone else burst out laughing 

"Promise us you'll call" Em asked and I rolled my eyes nodding
"Promise" I said and with that I was dragged out of the house
