Riley

"It's been one long morning" I said sitting down in the living room with everyone, Spencer had gone upstairs to try and put Olivia down for a nap 
"What's happened?" Emily asked laughing 
"Well we attempted to take Livvy out so that she could burn out some energy to have a nap considering she did not sleep last night" I started to explain
"but it didn't work?" Hunter asked

"Of course it didn't!" I laughed making the rest of the gang to join in
"I give it 5 minutes before either she's asking for me or she's down here running riot" I said making Emily chuckle
"I give it 2" She said but before either of us could say anything else, Spencer came down the stairs with a screaming Olivia
I looked at him and he gave me a sympathetic smile
"she wants -" He started
"Ley leyyy!" Livvy screeched
I rolled my eyes getting up and taking Olivia off of Spencer walking upstairs to attempt to get her to sleep myself 

"Livvy please sleep" I begged her, I rocked her gently too and through, I closed the blinds in the room and began to sing her to sleep
and magically with in 5 minutes she was fast asleep. Works a charm

As I walked downstairs everyone looked at me with a shocked expression
"She's asleep?" Spencer asked and I nodded handing him the baby monitor
"The lullaby?" He asked and I nodded again
"Works a charm" I said making him chuckle as he placed his arms around me

"I hate to be the barer of bad news Riles, but I need you to run an errand for me" Emily asked making me glare at her instantly
"what?" I asked
"Can it not wait until she's awake otherwise I'll have to take the bus" I groaned
"The place closes in an hour, I need you to pick up the test centre pieces" Emily said
"If I had known you went out this morning, I would have asked you to do it then" She finished before poking her tongue out 
"I can drive you if you'd like" James said making me look at him

"Just don't do any of that costume malarkey please, I don't think you can dance your way out of being late this time" Emily warned him making both of us laugh
God that day seemed so long ago but I think that was the first day that I really let myself get to know James, no matter how annoyed I was through out the day 

I turned to Spencer who offered me a smile
"I'll see you when I get back" I said and he nodded
"I'll be here" He chuckled leaning up to kiss me
"I love you" He said
"I love you too" I finished before leaving his side to join James in the car 

James

It's been a long time since Riley has been in my car but -
"You have the same car?" Riley laughed and I nodded
"I can't get rid of this beauty!" I said joining in on her laughter
"you and this car James, it's such a special bond" She said rolling her eyes
"Hey now, I could easily let you catch the bus" I warned her making her chuckle before looking out the window while we drove 

"do you remember the costume day?" Riley said picking up a conversation
"Oh yeah! I remember that was the first time you held me hand" I teased making her giggle lightly, it was the first time in years I'd made her laugh
"it was the first day that I met your Aunt Kathy" She said
"What was it you said about her?" I asked making Riley bit her lip before smiling
"Nice lady but-" She started
"Cooky" we both said at the same time with a smile on her face 

We had arrived at the Wedding shop, the amount of times we've all been here over the last week was so crazy
It's really putting into perspective how much older we all are now
"And there we go" Riley said putting the last box in the boot
"Hey, I have an idea" I smiled making Riley look at me curiously
"What?" She laughed
"Are you hungry?" I asked and she chuckled again smiling

"What did you have in mind?" She asked smiling sweetly
