LUX'S POV

It was Lux's 18th birthday and her parents knew she loved to learn about arcane talents and the world that surrounded the thick walls of Demacia. She had received a book on Mage abilities, and one thing her parents didn't know was that Lux was practicing her skills everyday.

Lux had been reading up more on creating portals or using portals. The golden haired girl tried many times to create such a thing but without a trainer Lux was unsuccessful. Her book read of gemstones that can hold magic, if Lux was to get herself some she could explore the world.

Lux went up city to find Kahina, and tell her the exciting news. Kahina already knew of Lux's arcane talents and was supportive of her secretive trainings, Kahina had also learned about light magic from Lux.

"Hey Kahina, wanna see what my parents bought me for my birthday?"

"Luxanna, you know you can call me Kai right?" Kahina replied with a smirk on her face.

"Oh my gosh im sorry Kai I forgot!" Lux giggled.

"Im just kidding. Show me kiddo"

Lux pulled out the Mage book from her satchel and handed it to Kai. "It's a book on mages, how cool!"

"They actually gave you this?" Kai replied as a surprising look wiped across her face.

"No Kai they gave me a book on how to be a good citizen, of course they gave this to me." Lux said as she giggled away. Lux began flipping through the pages and showing Kai the pages on portals.

"Lux, there is no way you are thinking about creating one of those." Kai said intriguingly. Lux moved her gaze towards the sky as she clutched her satchel releasing a giggle from inside of her.

"Wait. You've done it already haven't you?"

"No! I don't know how." Lux replied in a staggering tone.

"Well then, when you figure it out make sure to let me know." Kai said as she nudged Lux's shoulder with her own.

"Oh! I thought you could help me." Lux said.

"Me, a Knight. Help you, a Mage. You're hilarious."

"I was reading that every city has a Mage trainer or had one. I was hoping you would help me figure out if there was still any?" Lux said in a pleasing tone. Kai gave her a slight nod.
"Of course I will help you Lux, come back in a few days and we will meet again." Kai said.
