Into the Arcane || Jinx x Lux

LUX'S POV

Lux's vision had been fading in and out ever since she had used her magic at the hexgates, Lux had felt a weird feeling about the hexgates when she first arrived but she wasn't sure what exactly was making her feel this way.

The enforcer had taken Lux to Stillwater prison, to keep her locked up until the council was to have a hearing with her. Lux was now known as inmate '2137' the deadly mage that came to destroy Piltover. Lux was confined in an all brick room with railed bars, Lux was given metal cuffs over her hands to stop her from using her magic.

Lux had spent the next 3 days alone and miserable keeping to herself, and staying out of others businesses. There was one girl Lux stayed far away from, she was known as inmate '516'. She was deadly and ruthal, she took out anyone in her way. She had heard whispers that she had beaten up inmate '2135' so badly his jaw broke. Lux didn't want that for her so she stayed away from it all.

Lux was sitting in the cafeteria eating her food as best as she could with the metal cuffs on her hands. Inmate 516 began approaching her, Lux switched her vision around the room trying to get the inmates attention off of her.

"Heard you're a badass. Is that true?." The girl said. Lux looked up at her, she had pink short cut swept hair and a face tattoo that had symbols on it. Lux looked back down at her food and ignored the girls actions.

"Did you not hear me?" The girl said as she planted her fists down onto the table. Lux jolted in her chair.

"I don't know what your talking about." Lux said in a soft tone still keeping her gaze at the table.

"I know your a mage. News spreads quickly in Stillwater." The girl said as she stroked the blondes hair and sat down next too her.

"No one was supposed to find out. It was a mistake I was just trying to-" Lux stopped herself realising who she was talking too.

"Never mind. It won't matter too you." Lux said.

"Your name is Lux? Am I wrong." The girl asked.

"Yes." Lux said as she lifted her head to look at the girl who sat next to her.

"I'm Vi."

JINX'S POV

Jinx had ran all the way from Piltover back to the old cannery without turning back or stopping. Lux had just saved her.

It's all your fault you know - Mylo

Jinx scoffed at Mylo's attempt to make her feel bad.

She would still be here if you didn't take her on the mission - Mylo

In a way Jinx knew he was right. This was all her fault. She had now really lost everything.

Later on that day Jinx was laying in Lux's hammock reading her book on mages. She reached the page on light magic, Jinx stroked the page with her fingers and then threw the book onto the ground. Jinx let out an echoing screaming while tears ran down her face.

"It's not fair! Why do I cause everyone to leave!" Jinx screamed. Silco came running into Jinx's bedroom.

"What's wrong Jinx? Where is Lux?" He questioned.

"She was taken." Jinx said.

"Taken by who? We will get her back Jinx, I promise." Silco said as he pulled Jinx into a hug as he patted her hair and whispered to her "Your perfect, don't cry."

"She was taken by an enforcer. We were at the hexgates looking for-" Jinx was cut off by Silco.

"You went back to Piltover after I told you not too!" Silco yelled.

"Never mind, I'll get Marcus to release her. She's going to be okay Jinx." Silco said as he brushed her face with his hand as he got up to walk away.

LUX'S POV

"What do you want Vi?" Lux asked.

"I need your help getting out of here, my sister. She was taken by a bad man and I need to get back to her." Vi said.

"Who is your sister?" Lux asked.

"Her names Powder, she has blue hair and blue eyes like mine." Vi said.

Jinx's sister is Vi.

"You're Jinx's sister?" Lux said as she stood up and nocked her plate of food onto the floor.

"Who's Jinx?" Vi asked.

"Your sister that you abandoned." Lux said as she picked up the plate and food off the floor.

"I didn't abandon her! I got arrested. I- it doesn't matter what happened to me, is she okay?" Vi asked.

"No, she is haunted by voices and her father Silco. He controls her life." Lux said as she gave a soft frown to Vi.

"She needs help, the only reason I am here is because of her. I'm not mad at her I could never be. But she needs you." Lux said.

"Thank you." Vi said giving Lux a soft smile.

"I'll help you with the cuffs if you bring me back to my sister." Vi said.

How am I always in situations where I owe people something?

"Okay I'll do it. For Jinx." Lux said.
