Into the Arcane || Jinx x Lux

LUX'S POV

The couple laid on the couch cuddled up with each other for about an hour when Lux realised her reasoning for coming down here in the first place.

"Jinx, your sister. She's back!" Lux said.

"Sevika told me, apparently she's with some girl enforcer."Jinx said.

"You should go see her." Lux said.

"I suppose." Jinx said as she brushed Lux's face with her hand just like Vi did to her when she was younger.

JINX'S POV

Jinx got up and walked towards her desk to gather some things before seeing her sister. Jinx moved some papers to the side revealing the smoke flare Vi had given her if the two were ever separated. She grabbed it and put it in her bag.

Jinx walked over to Lux who laid perfectly pretty on the couch. "I'm ready." Jinx said as Lux stood up and took Jinx by the arm as they left the old cannery.

Jinx and Lux arrived at a high enough place for the smoke to be seen.

"Do you think she'll see it?" Jinx asked.

"I know she will." Lux said.

Jinx pulled the pin from the flare and held it above her head. All the memory's came flooding back, Mylo being stabbed, Claggor being crushed by bricks, Vi calling her a jinx and abandoning her. Tears started streaming down her face as the blue smoke trailed through the air.

Lux walked over to Jinx and wiped her tears with her thumbs, then giving her a soft kiss on her lips.

It had been about 9 minuets of the smoke being released in the air, it was now starting to fade out. Jinx dropped her arm down as she grunted and breathed heavily as the last of the smoke spat out. Jinx yelled and threw the flare down into the depths below.

Jinx heard footsteps behind her.

"Powder?" The girl said.

Jinx turned around to meet face to face with a pink haired girl, Vi who was now much older than she was before. She had a scared lip and eyebrow, she had tattoos on her arms and back as well as a nose ring.

"Vi?" Jinx said.

"Oh, Powder!" Vi said as she ran towards the girl wrapping her arms around her. Jinx was stunned.

This can't be real!

Jinx froze up causing her to drop the gemstone she held in her hand, tears began forming in her eyes as she grabbed on tightly to Vi.

"I'm so sorry, Powder, I... I tried to come back. I promise, I did. But I... I got arrested." Vi said as she grabbed Jinx's face with both her hands.

"Marcus?" Jinx said.

"I don't know. I... it doesn't matter. I just. I never thought I'd see you again." Vi said as she pulled Jinx back into a hug.

"Are you real?" Jinx asked.

"Yes, of course. It's me, Vi, your sister." Vi said pulling out of the hug to stare at Jinx's face.

"I'm here, I'm right here." Vi said.

"Things changed when you left. I changed." Jinx said as tears erupted from her eyes streaming down her cheeks.

"I know, pow-pow, I know. You did what you had to do to survive. Me too, it's okay. Once Lux told me you were still alive I knew I had to find you. And all that matters now is that we're together." Vi said pulling Jinx back into another hug.

Jinx pushed herself out of the hug.

"You know Lux?" Jinx asked.

"We met in prison, she told me she knew you well. She got released before I did but then she found me when she was on her way to you." Vi said.

"I wanted to bring her back to you." Lux said as she stepped forward.

The group of three heard footsteps in the distance, it was Caitlyn catching up to Vi.

"Who is she?" Jinx said as she pulled out pow pow her machine gun.

"Who are you?" Caitlyn asked.

"It's okay. She's just a friend." Vi said.

"Sevika wasn't lying? You're with an enforcer? Why didn't you tell me Lux?" Jinx asked.

"I tried but-" Lux said.

"Vi your sister is Jinx and Lux your girlfriend is Jinx" Caitlyn said figuring out who she was.

"Caitlyn, just listen, we can work this out." Vi said.

"This is a trick! You're playing me!" Jinx screamed.

She's not really here for you - Mylo

"Shut up! I'm in no mood!" Jinx said out loud back to the voice.

"We didn't say anything!" Caitlyn said as Lux glared at Caitlyn.

"I wasn't talking to you!" Jinx said as she pointed pow pow at Caitlyn.

"Powder, it's okay." Vi said softly.

"Stop calling me that. It's Jinx now. Powder fell down a well." Jinx said as Lux walked beside her placing her arm over Jinx's shoulder.

"You're not a Jinx! God, I never should have-" Vi was cut off by Jinx.

"Stop talking to me like I'm a child." Jinx said as she raised pow pow up to Vi's face.

"Was that why you came? For the stupid stone?" Jinx said as she giggled and pulled Lux behind her protecting her from Vi.

"No, I don't even know what that is, I-" Vi said stumbling on her words.

"You're a class act, sister. Sister. Thought I missed her. Bet you wouldn't miss her." Jinx said laughing as she pulled back the trigger on pow pow ready to fire bullets into Vi's face.

"Powder! I'm here for you. Only you!" Vi said as she smacked the machine gun away from her face.

"You can fire that thing if you want, but I'm not going anywhere. I'm not going to abandon you again." Vi said as she stroked Jinx's cloud tattoo on her arm.

She left you for a reason - Mylo.

She doesn't care about you - Claggor.

"Everyone shut up, I need to think!" Jinx yelled.

Jinx heard whirring noises in the distance.

"Do you hear that?" Jinx asked.

I know this is very similar to what actually happens however things are about to change drastically nothing will be the same from here on out :)
