LUX'S POV

All Lux could see was destruction. There was a stench of blood stained metal and a slight breeze bringing in the morning dew smell. Lux gaged at the combined scents. She began walking down the bridge as she counted the bodies lying lifeless on the bridge in hope that she didn't see Jinx's.

War was something Lux had only ever read about. Her whole life her parents raised her to believe war was not something you should wish upon. Lux could now see why.

Lux had reached the other side of the bridge with no sight of Jinx, or even Ekko.

Shit babe.

Lux dropped to the ground screaming all her anger out as hot tears streamed down her face. All of her guilt, anger, and sadness began erupting from Lux all at once.

Lux just sat on her knees curled up in a ball for a while. She felt a soft hand place itself on her shoulder.

"Lux, am I right?" The man said.

"Yea." Lux said as she lifted her head to meet herself face to face with Viktor.

"Viktor!" Lux said.

"In the flesh. All though I am mainly metal." Viktor laughed as he gave out a hand to Lux.

"What is hurting you child?" Viktor asked.

"I can see it on your face." Viktor handed a handkerchief to Lux to wipe her tears.

"It's my girlfriend, I think she got hurt. Like, not just emotionally, but physically. And I think she needs help." Lux said sniffling up her tears.

"But I don't know where she is."

"I know a friend down stream, he's like the doctor of the under-city to some. I'm sure Jinx will be there." Viktor said.

"Thank you. Wait- I never said that Jinx was my girlfriend." Lux said.

"I know all." Viktor laughed with a wink.

Viktor gave Lux a piece of paper with an address on it before he nudged Lux to go off.

"You owe me." Viktor giggled sarcastically.

"Thank you again." Lux said as she ran off.

In all the romantic books Lux had read she had never read one that came close to her and Jinx's life. They always went the same. Girl meets forbidden boy, they sneak out and date in secret. They get caught, they provoke their unconditional love to their parents, and then they live happily ever after.

Lux and Jinx's relationship was far from that, but that's what Lux loved about Jinx, she never truly knew her. Lux's most favourite thing in the world was discovering new things, and Jinx in a package was everything Lux ever dreamed of.

Lux had reached the address, although a cave wasn't what Lux was imagining. Lux walked down into the cave until she reached a door, she prepared herself before she knocked on it. A tall wretched man open the door.

"What do you want dear child?" The man asked.

"My girlfriend Jinx, is she here." Lux asked with a shaky tone.

"She is. I've just finished working on her. She will be okay." The man said as he walked her into the room to find Jinx asleep and bloody on a table. Silco sat unconscious in a chair next to her.

Lux immediately ran up to Jinx grabbing onto her as she shook her aggressively.

"Babe! Jinx! Wake up!" Lux yelled.

"She won't wake up, I need to give her this first." The man said as he walked over to Jinx and inserted a needle into her neck the continents flowing into her veins.

Jinx instantly woke up letting out an echoing scream. Lux jumped back before she realised she was now awake.

"Jinx! Are you okay?" Lux said as she grabbed onto her hands.

"You!" Jinx said as she looked towards the man.

"He saved you life." Lux said as she looked softly at Jinx.

"Ugh." Jinx said as she struggled in her restraints.

"Get this shit off of me!" Jinx yelled.

Lux quickly undid the buckled on her ankles and wrists. As she unbuckled the last one Jinx got up and pulled herself into the biggest hug with Lux.

"Thank you, for being here." Jinx said softly.

Lux just hugged Jinx back tighter as a small tear fell down her face. Lux lifted Jinx down off the table softly making sure to not hurt her body.

"Thank you... sorry what is your name?" Lux asked the man.

"You don't need to know who I am." The man said as he directed the pair to the door.

Jinx and Lux walked out in silence. They hadn't seen each other in a while, the last time Lux was abandoning her.

"I'm sorry Jinx, I never meant to hurt you. I'll do whatever you want to make it up to you." Lux said softly.

"It's okay, but I'll take up that offer." She giggled as she kissed Lux's cheek.

Lux hadn't noticed before but her eyes were now bright pink, the man must have infused her blood with... Shimmer.

"So what do I have to do?" Lux said.

"You have to do everything I say for the next 24 hours." Jinx giggled.

"I can do that." Lux said.

"Very well then, teleport us home." Jinx said with a grin on her face.

Lux rolled her eyes and began to teleport the pair back to the old cannery.

There is a large time gap in the show where we don't know what happens to Jinx. I've got some ideas to fill the void. We are looking at about 32-35 chapters/parts in total hope you're enjoying it so far we are super close to the end.
