LUX'S POV

"You bring me my Mercury Hammer's" Sylas implied.

"And what are you going to do with those?" Lux asked.

"Break out of here. What else?" Sylas said as he giggled. Lux agreed to his conditions, and everyday she visited Sylas engaging in many lessons that helped her magic grow. Lux learned about the wonders of the arcane and in which she learned to create her own portals. Lux was still too scared to enter any in doubt she still wasn't strong enough using her magic.

Lux had been visiting Sylas for a month now, he had mentioned in the last visit on creating her own weapon for her ability. So Lux took her creative skills to the table and made a wand in which she can direct light through orbs to protect herself in dangerous situations. Sylas had also said on the previous visit that he believes the next visit may be the last, so Lux honoured her word and brought Sylas's Mercury Hammer's, along with her orb wand to show him. It wasn't easy sneaking them in but Lux was able to distract the guards for long enough to sneak the stuff inside.
"You actually brought them." Sylas said.

"I am a good person you know." Lux said giggling

"I didn't realise how fun all of this was until, it has all come to an end. Lux you'll be a great mage, go out explore the world and let the light guide you." Sylas said. And with that Lux took the memories she made and the lessons she learned to the real world.

It was the next day, lux was sitting in her formal living room with her mother when an emergency warning popped up on the tv screen. 'Warning! Rouge Mage out on the loose, lock your doors and stay inside. We are dealing with the incident.' Lux turned to her mother who sat in shock next to her. Lux had forgotten it was frowned upon to be a mage so she had to quickly pretend she was disgusted.

"How unbelievable, another mage on the loose. They need to learn how to control them." Lux said. Lux began to get too carried away in the moment she didn't realise that her hands began to glow. At this moment in time her brother had walked into the room and saw her hands glowing. Lux noticed his face and immediately snapped out of it hoping and praying her mother didn't see.

Lux's brother called her out of the room. Lux began to feel nauseous, she knew exactly what he was going to say.
"Lux, it's okay. I've always known you were a mage, and so has our Aunt Tianna. I think it's best that you leave now that you can control your powers. It's not safe for you around here." Garen said in a soft tone.

"Wait you're making me leave? Where will I go?" Lux said worried.

"That's for you too decide, I'll tell mom your coming with me. I'm sorry it just has to be this way now." Garen said. Lux's heart broke into a million pieces, she can't live in her home town anymore, she can't be with her family. She has to go out into the world she wants to explore, alone.
