I felt his soft lips move carefully with mine, but the kiss ended as soon as it began. "Is this really what you want?" Harry whispered breathlessly. "No," I quietly sighed and made my way to his best mate's motorcycle scooter that he'd borrowed. I can't believe I just did that; I broke my own rule...like who does that?! We both climbed onto the scooter at the same time and looked at each other briefly before driving off to the beach.

"I, er, packed us a snack. In case we get hungry, you know?" Harry was so unsure and anxious, and it was making me question if this was a "just friends" event. "Oh, cool!" I tried to sound excited, but epically failed. I sounded weird and jumpy. Harry laughed uneasily and I helped him set everything up on the soft, smooth sand.

"So..." I started, hoping he would give me a hint on what we were doing. "I just wanted to talk. We don't talk much anymore and I miss my best friend." He grinned his adorable, lopsided smile and I couldn't help but grin back. I missed when I just thought of him as my best friend. It was simple and happy...but of course, life loves to shake things up for me.

"What are you talking about? We talk all the time." I smiled warmly at Harry, but he didn't return a smile back. Instead, he responded with a sad frown. "It's not the same." He murmured softly. "I know what you mean." I mumbled, hoping he wouldn't hear me.

Unfortunately, he did and he gave me a small smile. He was talking about how things changed after the kiss. It was a little awkward whenever we talked. It would never go back to how it used to be. His green eyes were bright and blazing with intensity.

His dimples were peeking out behind his cheeks and his perfectly straight, glowing teeth shone as the sun was setting. I'd never had a boyfriend before, but if I did, I'd want him to be Harry. I want Harry to be my first boyfriend...after all, he was my first kiss. Oh yeah, I forgot about that!

(The kiss last week..aka my first kiss)

"That was amazing." Harry said in complete awe. He pushed his curls out of his face so I could fully see his sparkling, emerald eyes. Harry and I had just kissed! He had kissed me so delicately and it was so perfect. This is how first kisses should be...normally they end in disaster or they just suck. "Was I, umm, okay? Did I mess up?"

I looked around nervously and played with my long, straight, chocolate colored hair. "No, you were great. I wouldn't know anyways though...that was sort of my first kiss." He sheepishly smiled and had a light blush. I should be the one blushing! "Me too!" I was shocked that he'd never kissed anyone before me. I was so...lucky!

"Maybe I could be your last first kiss." I stared at him in astonishment because that was possibly the sweetest thing anyone has ever said to me.......but then it was a little awkward. Harry cleared his throat and began talking about his new favorite video game. It was like the whole kiss had never happened...was it better that way?

 (Okay, flashback over!)

"What was that about?" Harry had a smirk on his face and titled his head in curiosity. "What was what about?" What was he talking about?! "I asked if you wanted to go closer to the water...and you mumbled something bizarre. You had this blank expression...except there was something in your eyes, saying "Come on!" It was sort of like you were day dreaming and waiting for something else to happen."

I giggled at him and stood up, my toes wiggling in the powdery, tan colored sand. "That was very deep, Harry. I think you could be a motivational speaker sometime in your life." He rolled his eyes and took my hand, leading me to the peacefully calm waters.

Do you like this so far?? I know that Harry's first kiss in real life was when he was younger, but I had to change it for the story.
