Everything About You (A Harry Styles Fan Fiction)

Prologue

“Emmy, I’m so lonely! Please come to the beach with me!” I sighed at his begging on the other side of the phone. He always whines to make me give in, and sadly…it works. “Fine, you win Styles. Which beach?” I heard him cackle evilly. “I’ll just pick you up.” He almost sounded nervous. He was being so weird, but I guess he has a good excuse.

Okay, you’re probably confused so let me rewind. I’m Emery Taylor (I go by “Em”, but only “Emmy” for Harry) and my best friend is Harry Styles. You most likely have no idea who he is, but he’s sort of famous in our town. He’s in a band called White Eskimo and they’re pretty talented. Lately, he’s been acting strange…it’s like his feelings really have changed; so have mine.

I never wanted to fancy my best friend, it just sort of happened. I never thought of him that way until last week. I mean, maybe I had thought he was a little cute before…um back to the point. Harry and I were just talking about his recent break up with a sweet girl who’d dumped him for someone else. Actually, I guess she wasn’t so sweet after all…?

Harry didn’t seem all that upset though. It was like he’d wanted it to happen, secretly. Making a long story even longer, we’d kissed. It was crazy, but it felt, well…good. I’d realized that I’d wanted that to happen all along.

Afterwards, it was awkward so we decided that we just wanted to stay best friends. It was better that way…not complicated. I had no idea what he’d planned for tonight, but hopefully he hadn’t forgotten about us being “just friends”. Even though I have some feelings for him, I don’t know what I’d do if our friendship was ruined.

Harry knows everything about me, and when I say everything…I literally mean it. He knows things like I only part my hair a certain way, and seeing ducks helps me relax. I know I sound extremely weird, but Harry completely understands me.

I just can’t stop thinking about that crazy, wonderful kiss.

Okay so do you like it so far? It’s a little slow right now, but it’ll get better. I probably won’t update very much because I’m working hard on my other fan fic, Confusing Love. I have another story, but I’ve given up on it. Maybe I’ll go back to it in a few months…anyways I know that pretty much everyone chooses to do a fan fic about Harry. He’s just so perfect and irresistible. I want to try to make this story different from the other fan fics…I’m all for being original. If it seems like I’m trying to copy other stories, I’m really not. I’m still hoping to make a story that a lot of people like.
