'One Week Later'
'Noah'
A whole week had passed and it had been a little bit crazy.
Ella had to go to the hospital once during this time. To check her concussion and take stiches out of the back of her head.
Talking about the incident. Ella's head had completely healed, hearing that the doctors were happy with the healing of her head was a massive relief for Micky, Luke, Ella's dad and myself.
Ella had been resting all week, staying home. She was home alone for as little time as possible, Jim had managed to get a weeks working from home with the occasional meeting, while Ella was ok being alone.
She was on medication for the concussion, which was going okish, she rarely complained. She was doing great.
Until today...
"It's ok" Luke mumbled, holding her hair in his fist as she was crouched down by the toilet, throwing up. I was gently rubbing her back in small patterns, trying to calm her crying that was also flowing from her eyelids.
Micky wasn't here, he was at home. It was Toby's birthday, Toby, his brother.
That left, Luke, Ella and myself home alone.
Poor little Toby wanted us three to go to his birthday party but due to Ella's throwing up this morning, we decided against it, as well as herself did. Her main reason was that she didn't want them to see her so sick.
That's right. She's been throwing up all day, which was strange because she hadn't eaten anything.
Another bad thing is that she had to go to school tomorrow.
She told her dad that she didn't want to get private tutors or therapy and such.
She was very passionate and confident that it shouldn't be her who leaves the school she actually doesn't mind, just because some girls are bullying her.
Amber, Roxy and Emma had been given isolation for two whole weeks and were moved out of Ella's class.
Not Ella moved out of the class, them moved out of classes.
A few moments pass of pure Ella throwing up into the toilet pan. She sits back on her heels, grabbing the toilet roll and ripping a piece off to wipe her mouth with it before throwing it in the toilet and standing.
"Are you ok?" Luke asks gently, standing too, just as I do. She nods firmly.
"Yeah, I'm just going back to bed" She mumbles, walking out of the bathroom, making as give a small worried glance to each other.
'The Next Day'
'Ella'
The hoodie had gone on, and the hood was up.
I suddenly got this impression of feeling really scared when I got out of the car. Not even saying goodbye to my dad who watches me, trying to talk but my head wasn't there, it was what was about to happen. Inside this building, that I did not like. Despite what I had told my best friends and dad.
Micky, Luke and Noah were standing in the usually place.
Neither of them knew the reason I was like this right now.
"Ella" Luke says softly, as I slowly approach them. I gently pull the hoodie back so then could see my face.
"Please don't touch me, don't talk to me, but if you want to follow me around, go ahead but I'm not in the mood." I say, more harshly then I was intending to. I take a deep breath, pulling the hoodie back to cover my face before walking into the busy crowded place.
I hear whispers and footsteps behind me, making me realise that they have followed me.
I was beyond upset.
No-one could change my feeling right now.
The prison and court had issued a third party visitation for my mother.
They were really encouraging myself and my dad to go as she was struggling, saying everything was a mistake. Saying sorry in her sleep.
I don't know if I want to go.
It's after school today, I only have this time at school to decide.
My dad and another third party would be with mum to prevent her for trying anything.
There would be a glass window between us anyway.
Maybe I should go, I should hear her out.
I get drawn out of my thoughts by the school bell signalling first lesson. First lesson was business with all of the boys. I really just wanted to be alone right now but I knew I had no choice but to be near them.
So once again, I was sat in between Luke and Noah, Micky on the other side of Micky.
When the teacher calls out my name in the register, I reply quietly but loud enough to be heard.
She tells us our assignment, making everyone get on with the work on the computers.
I think, not about the work, about my mother.
"Estella, pop here for a minute" I hear my teacher call across the classroom.
Inside, I roll my eyes and groan, but I stay emotionless on the outside as I make my way towards her desk.
"I didn't want to say in front of everyone but I'm afraid you need to take your hoodie off in my lesson" She tells me, a stern look on her face.
"No" I reply shortly, crossing my arms over my chest.
"If you won't, then see yourself to Mr Stone's office" She says.
"With pleasure" I walk away and grab my bag, throwing it over my shoulder not even looking at the boys who I know had their concerned faces on me.
On purpose I walk slowly. Thoughts running through my head about my mother.
I had one question.
Did she ask for this visitation?
'end of 23.'
