'Ella'

My eyes shoot open sharply when I hear a door unlock.

The person I hate most stalks into the room.

"Hello beloved daughter" She snarls at me sarcastically, disgust and hatred in her tone.

"Hello horrible mother" I snarl back, I don't know why I am testing her patience, I know that she could push a knife through my heart right now. I'd be dead within minutes.

"That isn't how you address your elders is it now?" She says back, walking closer and closer to me, I just wished I could back away. But I can't.

"You're not old mother. You just a bitch" This fell from my lips and I see her hand raise. It comes in contact with my cheek and I feel a tingling sting on my face.

"You are a mistake, Estella. I never meant to have a girl like you. I always wanted boys, they are so much easier to manage, compared to you." She says, all while grabbing a chair from the corner of the room and sitting down in front of me.

"But, I don't understand what I have done to hurt you?" I question myself if more than anything.

"It's not that you hurt me, Estella. I just got fed up with your mental health. When you lost Emma, that was awful for me. You wouldn't talk to me. You got violent-" I pause her by butting in.

"But you can't blame me for being sad about Emma. She had been my best friend since I was two years old. And I only got violent because I got drunk. I couldn't control myself." I say in just above a whisper.

"Estella" She snaps, annoyed that I had interrupted her. "I offered you therapy. I knew a lovely person that had helped many people in her career, and you denied it. I talked to so many people that could of helped you. And you ignored the help" She paused, looking at my face. "You ignored the help that I wanted to give you. This is all your fault"

"What is all my fault?" I shout, trying to get out of the restraints, but having no luck.

"You being the 'silent girl' , you did that to yourself."

"I was shy when I was alone without Emma. So these disgusting bullies-" I regret saying this as my mothers face looks at me with a harsh look on her pale face. "-they started the silent girl talk and it ruined my confidence and my mental health more."

"Well, there is nothing you are going to do about it. You're in my hands now and I am going to kill you" Her lips curl into a smile as she stands up, kicking the chair she was on over to the corner of the room.

Soon enough, I'm shaking in fear. My mother is at a work bench, doing something that I could not see.

She turns on her heels and walks over to me, before leaning down. Her breath was hot on my face. I just felt, weak and powerless.

My mother has what she wants.

One of her hands was hiding behind her back, the other travel to one side of my neck. In her hold, she brings out the other hand. In her hand was a syringe filled with a clear liquid, I finch at the two inch long needle. She brings it to my neck and pushes it into my skin, making me try to move away from it, but failed as the tight grip on my neck was holding me in place.

"This will make you weak" She says, before going over to the work bench and throwing the now empty syringe on the bench. "Not that you need it" She mumble under her breath before coming back to me.

She stands still for a few moments. Watching it, fight the urge to fall asleep.

Soon, after loud sirens are heard a few miles away.

Then, everything happens in a flash, she cuts all of the ropes binding me to the chair with a large knife. Holding the knife in one hand, the other was used to pull me up and throw me onto the floor.

A terrifying scream went passed my lips and I tremble in fear, cowering in the corner, trying to urge my tired body after from my evil mother.

The sirens got louder. My mother get closer.

Stood above me, she raised the knife above her head.

"Diana! Hurry up and kill her! We have to go now!" Christina's voice is heard from the doorway, my mother doesn't turn but listens.

She plunges the knife down, it going straight into my chest.

For a moment, time stands still and the ringing in my ears are all I could hear.

"Sleep well, my angel" Is the last thing I hear before she's gone.

My eyes are blurry and dizziness washes over my body. The police are coming, I can hear the sirens. I just needed to hold on right?

'Jim'

"Jim" I hear from in front of me. I was sat in the police station, along side Micky, Luke and Noah. A police officer rang me about twenty minutes ago saying that they could have a lead on where Ella could be.

Immediately, the four of us rushed to the police station. Hoping to come with to find her.

"We are ready to go. I'm afraid the minors are not allowed in the building but you are" I look to the boys and gently smile.

"Don't worry, I'll find her" I reassure them.

"You boys can wait with police officers at a safe distance" The police officer tells us.

"Ok, can we just go please?" I say impatiently, knowing that my daughter may be at the end of this lead.

Twenty minutes later. We are stood around, about a hundred metres away was a red bricked house. It was hidden in the deepest forest in our town, not far away from the phone box that we found Ella in a while ago.

I was suited up with bullet proof equipment, in case of emergencies while in there. I quickly turn to the three boys standing by the police car.

"I promise, I'll find her" I tell them, they all reassure me that she is fine.

Here goes nothing...

'end of 38.'

I'm sorry it's been a while!
