Rainy Day Friendship (Chaos & Charmy)

Chaos was sitting under a tree, the afternoon rain pouring down around him. He liked rainy days the best, on those days the world was peaceful and quiet. It was like he was the only one left on the whole planet. Chaos leaned back against the tree he was sitting under, closing his eyes and listening to the sound of falling rain.

Chaos heard a child's voice coming from somewhere near him, Chaos opened his eyes, stood up and walked towards the voice. The tiny voice got louder and louder until Chaos found himself standing a few feet behind Charmy Bee, the child member of Team Chaotix. Charmy was standing in the rain in a little dark orange rain jacket, holding a poorly drawn map. Charmy was grumbling to himself and seem quite upset.

Charmy: "Ugh, I knew I should've never trusted those other dumb kids..."

Chaos: (Mind) "I wonder what he's looking for?"

Chaos walked right up behind Charmy and knelt down to look over Charmy's shoulder. Charmy felt someone standing over him and assumed it was Espio or Vector given how tall the figure was. (Chaos is like 8ft tall and Charmy is 2ft tall so it makes sense)

Charmy: "Hi Espio or Vector, sorry for making you worry..."

Chaos: "I am worried little one, but I am not Vector or Espio."

Charmy turned around, confused as to why Espio/Vector had a weird echo to thier voice and came face-to-face with Chaos. Charmy panicked upon seeing the creature and flew up into the air, Chaos remained unfazed and stood up.

Charmy: "Wh-what the...aren't you that goopy water thing that Sonic fought that one time?"

Chaos: "Yes, I am Chaos, but I didn't mean to fight Sonic, I wasn't myself that day."

Charmy hesitantly flew down but stayed a good distance away from Chaos. Chaos stayed where he was, still as calm as ever.

Chaos: "Why are you out here all by yourself? Where are Espio and Vector?"

Charmy: "Well...earlier today these older kids came up to me and gave me this map, they said it was a treasure map but I think they tricked me. I didn't want Espio to Vector to think I was gullible so I didn't really tell them about the dead-end map..."

Chaos: "I don't think your gullible, even the smartest people can be wrong or be tricked. It's not your fault."

A sudden flash or lightning and boom of thunder made Charmy jump and zip into Chaos, clutching onto him as if his life depended on it. Chaos was confused for a second before scooping Charmy up in his arms and forming a large see-through bubble around the two of them that appeared to be made or Chaos Energy. The bubble sheltered Chaos and Charmy from the rain and was slightly warm inside.

Chaos: "Where is the Team Chaotix base located?"

Charmy: "In Sunset City, why?"

Chaos: "Because I'm going to take you home."

Chaos suddenly teleported and the two found themselves in Sunset City, Chaos started to levitate into the air, until he was high up enough that Charmy could see over the tops of the buildings. Charmy pointed to the Team Chaotix Base which wasn't too far way, Chaos flew over to the base and gently placed Charmy down on the front steps.

Charmy: "Well...bye I guess."

Chaos: "Bye Charmy, have a good night."

With those final words Chaos turned and teleported away in a blink of an eye. Charmy turned and went inside the Team Chaos HQ. Charmy walked into the Team Chaotix base to see Vector watching TV on the couch, he turned around to see Charmy.

Vector: "Oh, hey Charmy! Where you been?"

Charmy: "I was...exploring in the rain?"

Vector: "Cool!" "Espio's in his room meditating if your curious."

Charmy: "Okay, thanks Vector!"

Charmy flew over to Espio's room, curious to see what his purple friend was up too. Charmy secretly hoped he would see Chaos again, even though he'd done some questionable things, he didn't seem all that bad...
