The bear kept a tight grip on the reptile's hand as he led him towards the showers; most of the blood had dried somewhat, but each step still stuck slightly to the ground with a wet pop. Freddy released the reptile only once they stood in front of the showers, quickly turning the knob and slipping off his hat and bowtie, setting them on a nearby bench.

He reached a hand under the spray, "Alright, feels warm enough. Come on."

Freddy smiled softly; Monty shifted on his feet, not looking at the other. The bear sighed, grabbing hold of the other's bicep and dragging him under the water.

Monty sputtered, eyes widening as he cursed at the grizzly, "Agh, the fuck Freddy?!" The reptile put a hand over his brow, an attempt to keep the red water off his eyes.

Freddy frowned, eyes dark as he spoke slowly, "Language Monty, we need to get that blood off."

He reached a hand to the reptile's head, scrubbing off the red as Monty grumbled, leaning into the bear's touch despite himself.

They were lucky, the water doing most of the work while Freddy took care of the worst stains with his fingers, suds dripping down the gator's flushed neck.

"Ah' can do this myself," Monty muttered with closed eyes, face heated from the bear's light touches.

Freddy chuckled, claw grazing under one of the reptile's plates as he moved, enjoying the low whine Monty emitted, "Perhaps...but you don't want that, do you?"

Monty grumbled in response, remaining glued to the vocalist's hands.

The bear scrubbed the reptile's head slowly, nails massaging through his hair for a moment, both enjoying the quiet. Freddy reached over the gator's shoulder, shutting the water valve and retrieving a nearby towel, drying himself before grabbing another for Monty. The gator remained compliant, allowing the bear to dry him off, gaze wandering around the room in silence.

"Alright, there we go. As if nothing ever happened." Freddy smiled, standing to toss the dirty rags into a nearby basket, returning to see the reptile hunched over his knees on a bench.

"Monty, you okay?" Freddy frowned, gazing at the gator with eyes full of concern.

The reptile flinched, tail curling onto his lap as he fumbled for words, "What did ah' do for ya t-" He paused, biting his lip, "...to hate me?"

Freddie's eyes widened, fur bristling as he sat beside Monty, head tilted forward with his ears pinned back, "What? Monty, I don't hate you; why would you think that?"

Monty scoffed, glancing at the bear with narrowed eyes, "Plenty of reasons...but we can start with the fact ah' aint Bonnie, never have been and will never live up to his reputation no matter how hard ah' try," He hesitated, blinking back the tears, "Ah' can't make you happy."

The bear faltered, unsure what to say, "No, you're not Bonnie...but I don't want you to be. I like you for you, and I'm sorry I left you alone earlier. That was cruel; I know you must be hurting as much as I am, perhaps even more so. I miss Bonnie; a part of me will always love him, but-"

Monty cut him off with a dry laugh, "Yea, ah' can tell ya still love him."

He felt the rabbit materialize beside him, warm static leaning against his side on the bench, "Oh gee, ah' mean ah'm overjoyed hearin that...but Monty ya should hear him out." The rabbit tried, hand resting on the reptile's thigh.

"Tch, why should ah', not like he ever listens to me." Monty spat, head-turning to glare at the rabbit.

Freddy blinked in confusion, head tilted as he looked behind Monty, "Who are you talking to?"
