It had only been a month since Gregory and Freddy were able to defeat virus Afton, which in turn had freed not only Vanessa but also the other bots from his grip. Gregory didn't know why those arcade games had called out to him, but he's glad they did. The morning after management was forced to temporarily close the place to repair the damages, and while the three did their best to explain it was not an easy story to believe. Freddy pleaded to have his band reassembled rather than replaced with new AI, and surprisingly management agreed to his case.
Roxanne had been the simplest to repair seeing as new eyes were far easier to come by, and although Chica had no words, she would stay close to Roxanne and comfort her with hugs and cuddles. Chica was given a replacement voice box, as the old one tended to do more harm than good, she didn't mind and was just thankful to be able to talk once more. Both were fixed within a week.
The most difficult case was that of Monty, engineers opting to repair rather than replace his specialized endo. The casing was coated in special waterproof fibers and metals, seeing as his original design was made to crawl out of his bog and challenge players to golf matches. Freddy was lucky to receive only minor damages, being fixed within the day's end.
But he felt as if he had changed, something in him had snapped. Freddy was by no means consumed, but the whole ordeal left him with a far darker outlook of his friends. It was an odd feeling, he didn't want to see them hurt but also believed they needed to be punished for tormenting Gregory. Albeit the child was a menace himself, and the bots were controlled by outside forces. All three were quick to apologize for their behavior shortly after repairs were completed. Freddy wasn't sure yet, but he knew he had to release some resentment before he caused himself to malfunction.
To Freddy, Monty had always been the odd one out. In part him being the only reptile the franchise had ever seen, but also because he was a plan B, a replacement for a beloved figure, and no matter how hard the gator tried he was stuck to be forever in the rabbit's shadow.
Freddy missed Bonnie more than he thought was possible; still hadn't quite accepted he was gone despite how long it had been. He hated Monty for it. He replaced his friend, and while Freddy knew it wasn't the gator's fault, he couldn't help letting a sliver of disdain slip towards the otherwise unassuming reptile.
Freddy wanted it. Wanted to punish, torment. He couldn't break them, no, that would not only cause trouble for him but also the company. He didn't want anyone, himself, in particular, being scrapped thus had to plan out his game carefully. He wanted to watch them squirm under his weight, and beg. For what? Forgiveness? Something else? Freddy wasn't sure, his thoughts were slowly becoming a breeding ground for his most carnal desires....
Why am I so...ravenous?~
It was an odd feeling, as much as he wanted to cause pain, he also desired pleasure. Was it even possible to obtain both, the bear wasn't sure but he was more than ready to find out. He sighed, staring at himself in the mirror, he looked tired, and frankly he should be recharging right now, but never felt like doing it as of late.
The mall was closing for the night, and after a long day filled with songs and parties, Freddy was exhausted. He had been watching his bandmates, keeping an eye on both their physical as well as mental health.
They all carried trauma, some more so than others and the bear felt it was his duty to at least ensure they a least had somebody to confide in. Chica had spoken almost immediately, sobbing in his arms as she broke, apologizing over and over as he soothed her nerves. Roxanne had been second, keeping her distance from him as she talked, her eyes slowly calming as she was able to release some stress.
Now Monty, Monty was a difficult case, he hadn't even tried speaking to the bear despite how often Freddy offered. In the past, the gator would have snapped and told him to screw off, but these days he'd been more passive. Simply saying no thanks and walking off, honestly Freddy would have preferred the anger, seeing the reptile so distraught was abnormal, and it truly worried the bear.
Yet all in all, the robots had been doing better as of late, smiling more and seemingly enjoying themselves for the first time in a while. It made the bear smile with glee.
Freddy checked his internal clock, it was well after the remaining employees had left for the night, leaving the plex empty of intelligent conversation save for the band and a lone security guard. Besides, he couldn't wait any longer, he was at his limit. If he does he'll snap. Luckily tomorrow was Monday, the only day the plex closed for the week, allowing Freddy to carry out his plans not only throughout this night but throughout the next day as well. Should he even call them plans, they felt more like schemes.
No, he shook his head, he won't back down.-
He wanted this. No deserved this-
After a quick recharge, Freddy headed out of his room, rounding the corner he nearly collided with Chica. The white bird let out a soft screech, shocked by the bear's sudden appearance.
"Geez Freddy, ya startled me." letting out a sigh as she regained her composure. " Where you off to? I rarely see you out after dark these days."
Freddy paused blinking, he hadn't been prepared to run into others tonight.
Damnit I should have planned for anything, think Freddy-
"Freddy...?" Prolonged silence caused her to tilt her head in confusion, "You alright...?"
Plastering his trademark smile on his face and quickly adjusting his fur before replying,
"Haha, sorry I'm just a bit tired from today is all. Apologies for startling you. Just needed some air".
Liar-
Chica narrowed her eyes as if she knew he was talking out of his ass.
Clearing his throat in an attempt to pull her from whatever assumptions she had, he quickly changed the subject. "A-anyways...where are you off to, Chica?"
Her expression quickly shifted into a smile, "Just going to Roxy's for a.... girls' night. Hehe" her feathers tinting a light crimson. Rubbing the back of her neck in hopes to relive some embarrassment, she let out a light cough.
"A-anyways I should probably get going. Don't wanna keep Rox waiting to long."
She shifted her feet lightly, Freddy understood when one wanted to exit a conversation, not that he was complaining.
Freddy let out a small chuckle, "Your alright go enjoy your 'girls night'".
Offering up a knowing wink, his smirk impossibly wide. The poor bird flushed like a tomato, she cursed having white plumage.
"I-I have no idea what you're insinuating" she stammered. Puffing up slightly as she stormed past the bear.
"Uh-huh...I'm sure" Freddy joked, throwing her two thumbs up, receiving back a very embarrassed glare and middle finger...double finger actually.
Once she had disappeared from his view, Freddy exhaled a breath he wasn't aware of holding, relieved he was able to remain his composure. He wasn't an idiot, he knew of the girl's secret relationship. Not that he was judging but they weren't very good a hiding it.
He shook his head, he needed to put it out of his mind for the moment. He had more important matters at hand right now. He puffed his chest with false confidence.
He could do this. He'd get what he wanted-
