Freddy sighed as he listened,  his mind slowly becoming clear like a fog had been lifted, it wasn't all there, but he could piece together some of the parts now. He never blamed Monty for Bonnie, but hearing he was rebuilt with the rabbit's parts made him sad and frustrated. They fell into an uneasy silence as Freddy finished attaching Monty's arm, neither knowing quite what to say anymore.

"Alright, it's done." Freddy spoke softly, placing the tools away as Monty moved his arm about, "How's it feel?"

"Good," The gator chuckled lightly, "Reminds me of when Bonnie fixed me up." Monty smiled at the bear, trying to lighten the mood.

Freddy's lips quivered, overwhelmed with conflicting emotions, "Yea..." The bear's baby blues avoided the gator's rubies as he turned his head.

Monty's eyes widened before he downcast them, "Freddy, I'm sorry about Bon, ah' didn't mean to." The reptile whimpered, hating himself more with every passing second the bear refused to meet his gaze.

"I- I know, I'm not mad, but I..." He paused, shoulders slumping as his ears fell, "I need some time to process...I'll see you later..."

The bear spun on his heel, hurrying back up the stairs and to his room, not noticing the reptile reach for him.

Monty choked, feeling tears prick his eyes, his chest tight with trapped air; it was at this very moment he despised himself for even existing. He regretted telling Freddy about the past, and he hadn't even told him everything, just the part about Bonnie, and as for the rest, Monty wasn't sure he could even if he wanted to. He gasped, unable to breathe; he just wanted to stop feeling, stop being even if that meant he didn't exist. If he hadn't been 'born,' then Bonnie wouldn't have died.

"I-it's mah fault...all of it, goddammit." He whispered, staring at his trembling hands.

"It wasn't yer fault..." A voice spoke beside him; they sounded distant and weary,  yet also loud and robust all at once.

Monty blinked, warily glancing around yet not seeing anyone; he sighed, figuring he had finally lost it as he stood.

"Hey," The voice boomed, causing him to stagger over his feet, barely catching himself against the door frame, "Don't ignore me, Mont, it's rude."

He could practically feel them tapping their foot behind him; it was quick and loud; the gator straightened, turning towards the voice slow and cautious.  Monty's froze, his eyes widening as he stumbled while trying to take a step back only to trip over his tail and fall on his ass.

"What the actual fuck!" The reptile shrieked, arms raised defensively as he gawked at the annoyed rabbit.

Bonnie crossed his arms, his body somewhat static and see-through but still there and growing more irritated by the second.

"Hell if ah' know, now calm down-" Monty cut him off with a yell,

"No nuh-uh, this ain't real." He stood, stomping towards the main stage, hands rifling through his hair.

"Monty!" Bonnie materialized right in front of him; the reptile yelped, instinctively swiping a hand at the rabbit.

His claws went right through Bonnie as if he was pushing around thick, hot air, a being made up of static. Monty was perplexed and, at this point, figured his nervous meltdowns finally took their toll; he'd gone completely insane. He swiped again, mesmerized at sight; the colors swirled around his claws before bouncing back to their original position.
