*This is it, we in the end game now...

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The duo made their way toward the daycare, arriving in front of the tall double doors within minutes, the air thick with unspoken tension as they stood there.

"Let's do this." Vanessa rolled her shoulders, taking a breath and pushing the doors open.

The two stepped inside, gazing about for the cheery animatronic,

"Maybe he's out?" Freddy shrugged, the blonde rolling her eyes in response.

"FRIENDS!" The duo jumped, attention focused on Sun as he stood atop the play structure, waving like a madman before he jumped down with a twirl.

"Hey, Sun ACk-" The yellow robot scooped the woman into his arms, squeezing tight before doing the same for Freddy.

"What brings you both here?" The robot asked with a wide grin, bouncing on his feet as he spoke.

Vanessa sighed, looking away, "W-we need your help."

Sun rose a brow, face turning concerned, "Our help? What happened that made you so upset?"

The blonde took a breath, adjusting her hat and hardening her gaze, "Some people came in today; they want to take Monty to a new location, and we need to prevent that from happening."

Sun gasped, hand covering his mouth, "Oh dear, not Monty. He's the best at macaroni art, and we haven't finished the banner yet."

Freddy couldn't help but smile at the thought of Monty trying to delicately place noodles onto paper, glue sticking to his claws.

"Yes, Sunny, we don't want him to leave with the bad people...but we need evidence to stop it from happening." Freddy pushed himself into the conversation, hoping the sun animatronic would help them.

"Bad people? Evidence? Please explain; you two aren't making much sense."

The bear tensed, clasping his hands together, "To put it simply, these people hurt kids, a lot of them by using Monty, and he couldn't stop it. Now they want to use him again but in a new location, and we think we can use something against them to stop it, but the way to get to where the tapes are is too small; we need you...none of us can fit inside the hatch."

Sun went quiet, body abnormally still as his gears turned.

Vanessa swallowed, "We understand if you don't want to."

Sun put his hand up, silencing her mid-sentence, "No, we'll help. Not only do we want Montgomery to stay, but we believe bad people should be punished. Would finding this tape punish them, Freddy?"

The bear nodded, "Yes, and then some. We just need to find it."

Sun crossed his arms, face the most serious they'd ever seen it, "Alright, where do we need to go?"

"Monty golf, there's a secret hatch they used to transport the kids there," Vanessa replied quickly.

"Okie Dokie, we'll meet you both there." Sun turned, crawling up the play equipment and over the netting, latching himself to the ceiling before disappearing around the corner.

Vanessa blinked, "I don't know whether to be amazed or terrified to know he can scale the ceiling."

Freddy nodded in agreement, "Y-yes...let's get going. Hopefully, the others are having as much luck as us."

The rabbit and gator were not having as much luck; after tossing half the balls from the pit, they managed to locate the hatch. On top of being rusted, the gator couldn't get it to budge.
