Ryan walked out the door looking pissed an Brittany well she had a blank look on her but I'm guessing for her that was normal.
"Don't let the door hit you on your way out!!" I yelled. Ryan slammed the door and I just shrugged.
" Man that pizza is the shit!" Jimmy came rubbing his beer belly. I chuckled
" aww jimmy you finished eating and now I have to go in there by myself" I pouted playfully. Jimmy turned around,
" da fuck I didn't say I was done eating" he said walking back into the kitchen. I followed and everybody was sitting around eating, talking and drinking. I looked around and saw Matt smiling and Val right besides him her arms around his waist. Maybe this was home, but then again nothing seems to last forever. Matt will probably send me back to New Haven ,he is just doing this for charity , I'm just another charity case to him nothing more.
" what's wrong kiddo?" Zack said breaking me out of my train of thought.
" huh- oh nothing I'm just not feeling good, probably still jet lagged. " I half smiled.
" you didn't get into your dads liquor cabinet right?"
" no" I smiled. He raised an eyebrow, man that was attractive, " scouts honor!" I held up two fingers,giving a toothy grin. He chuckled and messed up my hair.
" your dad has been talking about you all day" he said quietly. I looked up at him,
" let me guess he wants me gone right?" I rolled my eyes.
" actually no, he's just worried you might turn into syn's kid" he took a large gulp of his beer
" oh him"
" yeah him, Ryan, so I'm guessing you met him?" He laughed at that last part.
" well yeah- he is annoying" I plainly replied.
" you got that right" he winked and walked away. I sat there for a couple minutes before deciding it was time to head to sleep. I went upstairs and quickly ran into my room everything was quiet there nobody was around and that's when I felt the tears well up, the lump at the back of my throat getting bigger and my lips quivering. I jumped onto the bed bringing my legs up to my chest and letting the tears stream down my face.
" mom I need you-" I whimpered.
