" Oh my god this has way to many carbs I don't want to end up like free willy or something." Brittany complained as she looked at the menu.
I just stayed quiet hoping I would drain her voice out , but a particular laugh caught my attention...Amber. I quickly scanned the place to see where she was sitting. At one of the booths far off to the other side of the building there she was with Derek. All of a sudden they were buddies who do they think they are. I wanted to get up and go over to say hi but I assumed Amber was still mad so I stayed.
" How about you just order a glass of water since you don't want to eat?" I said kinda irritated.
" someone is a bit grouchy this morning was I not good enough this morning?" She winked.
" Brittany why don't you just shut up for once?"
" fuck you Ryan!" She yelled as she grabbed her purse and started walking out.
" I already have bitch!" I called back. There were a few people in the diner so most of them just looked quickly and turned back to their meal. Derek and Amber weren't here ...they had left and I didn't even notice. I grabbed my coat and made my way over to my car. When I reached the parking lot I saw Derek's car I slowly made my way over only to see Derek and Amber making out. His arms around her waist and she had one hand placed on his cheek. I stood there watching my best friend make out with the girl that has me going crazy. My heart dropped I stormed back to my car and left the parking lot and started driving to I don't even know where. The image of them making out played on and on in my head. How could I be this stupid to fuck this up. I thought me and her had something. I ended up back at home, my dad was on the couch watching what I think was the football game he quickly looked over.
" It's about time you get home...listen Matt is having a BBQ at his house if you want to go?"
I thought about it..." Yeah I guess so"
I walked up to my room and decided to shower since I still was a bit hung over. I kinda was hoping Derek wouldn't be there I can't believe he did this to me. But Amber I don't know if she really had feelings for him or was this her way of getting back at me. I guess I would just find out tonight.
