"Amber hurry your going to be late" Sharon said trying to wake me up, I had a family today coming to see me and I wasn't as excited.
"noo-" I groaned as I pulled the covers over my head.
"c'mon please I'll take you out later" she pleaded.
"noo- wait where?" I asked poking my head out a bit. I really wanted to take my mom fresh flowers.
" anywhere now please get dressed" she said as she walked out my room.
I got up and made my way to the showers across the hall, nobody was in there and I made sure by sticking my head under the stalls. Great now I can sing while showering, I tend to do that alot.
......" don't you wish your girlfriend was as hot as me!!" I sang,man that song was always stuck in my head. After a long warm shower I got into my fuzzy blue robe and walked to my room,well I share a room with a girl about my age but she was in temporary care or something like that. I pulled out tacky skinny jeans and the burgundy button up polo shirt with the words,"new haven orphanage" engraved into it.
I teased my hair and pulled on my white chucks.
"great you're ready now, the family is waiting for you downstairs" Sharon walked in looking at her watch with a worried look on her face. I made my way downstairs and saw the family a mom and dad and a younger girl, they all wore the same face expression,like the what-the-fuck-is-that look,umm yeah I don't think that's a good sign but maybe this was my chance to have fun.
"hey there" I said with a big smile.
"uh- I mean hello we are the Mansons"
"oo like Charles Manson? Cause that guy Is totally crazy!" I chirped
"well yeah but we're not crazy" mr.manson said.
"right trying to remain on the down low,I understand" i winked while elbowing him in the stomach.he patted his stomach carefully and looking at me weird.
"so uhh ur name is amber right" mrs.manson stepped in.
"yes siree that's me Amber rose" I smiled widely.
"mommy she is scary" the little girl stepped behind her moms back.
I bent down and carefully whispered,"boo!" I gave out a light chuckle when she flinched.
"well I think that's enough for today?!" the both Mansons said as they walked out.
I walked back up to my room and sat down reading a book. 2 mins later Sharon walks in not to happy,"what was that?!" she asked
"what was what?" i asked innocently
" you scared them off, you can't keep doing this" she said while taking a seat next to me.
" I'm sorry I wont do it again blah-blah-blah" I said looking back at my book which by surprise I was holding upside, I thought I was reading a Spanish book.
"I found your dad" she said with a sigh. I slammed my book on the bed.
"nooo! I am not going to that lowlife nope never" i said sternly
"Amber its best, I mean I know what he did was wrong but all parents make stupid desicions when they have a baby at a very young age.besides he hasn't answered the phone" she stroked my hair as I laid back down
"well he better remain hidden" I muttered.
