Weeks had passed. Ethan kept reaching me out but like what I've said, we need distance kahit ikinakasakit ko ito. I really don't like this thing I am feeling. It feels so heavy but light. I don't understand.

Everytime he's around, my heart keeps beating faster. Sa sobrang bilis ay baka naririnig niya.

The strange thing is I have never seen him talking with someone over the phone. Or baka tuwing wala ako saka niya tinatawagan? Oh, God gracious. I shouldn't worry about stuffs like this.

"Hello, Des?" I answered the phone.

Me and Des are planning to take this photoshoot. It's been a year since I saw her. Mas lalo kasi siyang dumistansiya at naging busy simula noong tumaas ang p'westo niya.

"I'm heading to the cafe na, Sainet. Where are you?" She asked politely.

There's a lot of people that saying she has an attitude but they're wrong. The Des that I know is kind and soft-hearted. She's just building a wall para hindi siya masaktan ulit.

"I'm still here, Des. But I'm almost done. Sorry for not going there at the right time. It was just I was too exhausted because of my schedule," I said while putting my earrings.

"It's okay, I understand. See you later." Pinatay niya ang tawag and I smiled. She's still the old Desraice we know.

Savi is in front of my door and I can't help it but to pet her. She's just so cute.

"Hey there, my little baby," I said while petting her.

She barked as if she was answering me.

"You missed Mommy, didn't you?" she barked again. "Oh, my poor baby. Mommy missed you, too." I kissed her forehead lightly and she barked again.

I smiled and stood up. I'm already late kaya kailangan ko nang umalis agad. Desraice is probably there already so I really need to fasten my pace.

I was about to open the door when someone grabbed and pulled me towards his body. I was shocked. I can't utter any words.

As I watched his eyes, longing and loneliness was seen. He's been longing for his girlfriend? He should go and call her. He don't need to use me because I already knew.

I pushed him lightly and acted I was fixing my already fixed hair. I don't wanna talk to him unless it was an emergency.

I turned my back at him but I was stunned when he utter the five words that I am already expecting him to ask.

"Why are you avoiding me?"

I smirked.

I turned my face to him with a smirk plastered in my lips. "Just because," I said and continued walking away.

I saw Des sitting in the table and sipping on her drink. I smiled. I can't easily recognize her because even it's only been a year, she looked more mature.

I walked at her slowly while fixing my sunglasses. I need to wear one though. I can't hide my identity but as much as possible, I will.

I'm planning to surprise and startle her but I guess, I can't. The irritated look from her means something. I chuckled and that's the reason why she saw me.

"Sainet!" She loudly shouted. Napasapo na lang ako sa noo dahil sa ginawa niya.

I gestured her to tone down a little bit kaya napahawak siya sa kaniyang bibig. Everyone in the cafe looked at me and all I did was to smile at them.

I confidently walked toward' Des. When I was finally seated, I was shocked because the three waiters gathered up to take my order.

"I'm going to have the red velvet cake and chocolate drink with vanilla, please." I smiled at them.
