Surprise

"Lumayo ka saakin, Sainet. Wala akong kaibigang marupok," naiinis na saad ni Hartew.

I pouted and tried reaching his arms again. "Bakit ba? Hindi naman ako marupok. I just did what I am supposed to do. Hindi naman ako unprofessional at tsaka mas mabuti ang gano'n, hindi ba? At least I'm not bitter or mad anymore."

I heard how they sighed after hearing my words. I pouted even more. Bakit ba ganiyan sila? I'm just doing my job and he's doing his!

"Tangina, you're so kind, Sainet. No one deserves you..." Livo uttered. Napangiti naman ako.

"Ang OA niyo talaga kahit kailan. Ano, treat niyo na ako sa malapit na park? Dali na! Habang hindi pa tayo busy!"

All of them smiled because of my request. Nang tumango sila ay dali-dali akong pumunta sa kotse at agad na pumwesto.

"Mag-paalam muna kayo sa mga asawa niyo at baka mag-alala sila. I also miss hanging out with them, kailan ba sila free?"

Natawa sila ng mahina.

"Ask yourself if you're free whenever they invite you to go out with them. Nagtatampo na ang asawa ko dahil hindi mo man lang daw siya masamahan," Hartew uttered while chuckling softly.

"She's more busy now because of the non-stop endorsements, movies, auction, fashion show, photo shoots and concert. Tao ka pa ba, Sainet?" Dhamathro butted in.

I glared at him. "Of course! You really can't feel drained if you love what you are doing especially if it makes you happy. I don't mind spending my entire life singing but I know that one day I have to stop and rest. I just can't forever stay wherever I am now."

I pouted after saying that. I know that I can't stay any longer any more. Kailangan ko ring mabuhay sa likod ng camera, magkaroon ng tahimik na buhay.

My whole body is drained, mentally and physically because of my work. But what can I do, right? This is what I want and I will never regret having this passion.

I truly enjoyed the time when were in the park. Kaunti lang ang tao dahil weekdays and I thank heavens for that. Popularity is no joke, really. We ate cotton candy, we rode different rides and more.

But one of the most unforgettable thing that happened to me is when we were in the horror house.
"Says who?" Livo glared at Dhamathro who pushed him inside.

Walang bang balak pumasok ang mga 'to? I can't move my body kasi silang tatlo ay nakakapit sa braso ko.

Ano sila, baby?

"The three of you, will you please stop? Kung ayaw niyong pumasok ay ako na lang ang papasok! Cowards."

Humakbang ako pero hindi pa man umaabot ng tatlo ay nakakapit naman ulit sila sa braso ko. Napapikit ako nang mariin.

I saw in my peripheral vision that they pouted.

"Bakit kasi gusto mong pumasok dito, Sainet? Nakakatakot na ngang tignan sa labas pa lang ano pa kung sa loob na?" Natatakot na saad ni Hartew habang tinuturo ang pasukan.

I mentally rolled my eyes.

"I'm just curious, nothing more, nothing less."

"Tanginang curiosity 'yan, Sainet..." Mahinang bulong ni Livo na ngayon ay bumitaw na saaking braso.

I looked at him and raise my one eyebrow. "May sinasabi ka, Livoinel?" Umiling siya.

I'm just really curious kung ano ang nasa loob nito. Madalas ko lang kasi nakikita sa mga pelikula and the moment I saw this horror house, agad ko silang hinila. I wanna try this one, too.
