Ch.5

Next morning
Melo's POV
I woke up to my alarm going off i quickly turned it off I felt my arm around someone. Open my eyes and I remember it's Kayla she's sleeping with her back against my chest and my arm around her. I quickly take my arm from around her trying not to wake her. I walked in to the bathroom to shower. Once I was finished and dressed I walked into kairo's room to wake her and Ryder up.
" come on kai and ry it's time to wake up" I said gently rocking them they started to stir.
" 5 more minutes daddy pwease" kairo said.
" yeah 5 more minutes pwease mewo" Ryder said.
" come on munchkins you gotta go to kindergarten and I need to go to an interview" I said to kairo and Ryder. They slowly got up out of bed. I got them dressed I gave Ryder some of kairo's clothes to borrow.
" what do you guys want for breakfast" I said walking into the kitchen with kairo and Ryder behind me.
" waffles pwease" they both said sitting at the table. 
" coming right up do you want some juice" I said to kai and ry.
" orange juice pwease" they said. I grabbed them each a sippy cup putting orange juice in them and handing them to the girls they said thank you.
" mewo where's my sister" Ryder asked me.
" she's upstairs sleeping I'm going to take you to kinder and your sister will pick you up" said to Ryder .
" Otay" Ryder said.
I made them breakfast got the ready and drove to the kinder I parked and got the girls out walking Ryder to her class first and signing her in.
" bye ry have a good day" I said bending down giving her a hug.
"Bye mewo" Ryder said giving me a hug. Kairo and Ryder both said bye to each other giving each other a hug we waved bye to Ryder. Kairo was holding my hand as we walked to her class.
" remember baby uncle zo is picking you up today because daddy's got a basketball camp and uncle zo is going to drop you off to me at the basketball camp" I said to kai while putting her bag in her cubby.
"Okay daddy"  kairo said.
" good morning kairo" miss may said.
" good morning miss may " kairo said with a smile.
" kai come give daddy a kiss and cuddle goodbye" I said bending down to her level.
" love you I'll see you later" i said giving her a kiss on the cheek.
" lub you too daddy" she said giving me a kiss and a hug. Then running off to play with her friends. Before I left I signed her in and put down that zo will be picking her up this afternoon. I was walking out the gate when I heard miss may call my name.
" mr ball" she said running up to me.
" yes miss may" i said.
" just letting you know your rostered on this week to help out with Lunch duty" miss may said to me. Once a week the kinder has a parent help with lunch we pretty much spent the last half of the day and eat lunch with them.
" okay what day is it" i said with a smile.
"Friday at 12 o'clock" miss may said.
" okay thank you I'll be there have a nice day miss may" I said with a smile walking off.
I got into my car and connected the Bluetooth before I could put my music on my phone started ringing through the Bluetooth it was Kayla I answered it.
" wussup mamas" I said.
"Where are you and the girls" she asked still waking up.
" I just dropped them off at kinder I have an interview so I'm on my way there now I thought I'd let you sleep because you looked like you needed and I'm also just the most amazing best friend" I said laughing.
" well aren't you sweet melly " Kayla said.
" aw come on mamas what'd I tell you about that name" I said whining. Kayla laughed through the phone.
" I like it anyway I gotta go I gotta get ready for work" she said.
" okay what time you finish" I said.
" 5 if my boss doesn't make me do over time" Kayla said sounding annoyed.
" who's picking ry up from kinder" I said asked.
" Kim and Leah pick her up on Mondays" Kayla said.
" okay are you coming over tonight after work" I asked.
" I'm not sure yet I'll see how I feel after work and depending on if I have to do over time" Kayla said.
" okay let me know but I gotta call zo to remind him he's picking kairo up from kinder today" I said.
" okay talk to you later bye" Kayla said.
" talk later bye" I said hanging up the phone.

I called zo on the 3rd ring he answer.
" what melo" he answered the phone annoyed.
" geez who pissed in your corn flakes" I said.
" man Denise and I got into an argument" zo said.
" have fun with that " I said laughing an little bit.
" whatever bro why did you call" zo said getting annoyed.
" just calling to remember to pick kai up from kinder today at 2 and drop her off at the basketball ball day camp" I said.
" yeah I won't for get don't worry" he said.
" okay I gotta go I'll talk to you later" I said.
" okay bye" zo said I hung up the phone.
