"I wonder how Shin is," Benkei looked up at the sky, pocketing his hands by his jeans. Takeomi took a drag from his cigarette and turned his head, looking farther away by the frozen river. "It would be nice if he pays a visit here."

"Who knows?" Takeomi shrugged, leaning towards the silver rails, crossing one arm over the other, the hand holding the cigarette up in the air. "The kids must be busy with university, so they may have a hard time visiting for the holidays."

The place where they first declared the debut of Black Dragons, where four people stood by a circle by their former leader, Shinichiro. Takeomi recalls the cold summer breeze, the midnight sky, and the sound of the river. And it was a shame they disbanded in 1999, but they're now living a happy life with their families, so it's alright, worth the shot.

"Yow," Wakasa muttered behind them, making them turn their heads over to the boy. He had a different hairstyle, having an undercut with long purple and blonde stripes tied up in a messy bun. He didn't have those bangs anymore, with a lax strand of each colour by the sides of his face. He partially raised his hand, holding a plastic bag with a convenience store logo printed on its white material. He set it down as he walked towards them, going beside Benkei. He shuffled by the bag, getting each of the two a can of coke and handing it over to them. Benkei took both cans and passed one over to Takeomi, who muttered thanks and popped open the can.

"I asked Shin-chan if he'll visit for the holidays," Wakasa said. "But he said they can't come home because the children are studying for their finals."

"What's their courses again?" Takeomi asked, taking a sip.

"Emma is taking Bachelor in Science of...Midwifery," Benkei answered. "And Mikey's taking a business course, I forgot the specific one though."

"Business Management," Wakasa butted in, opening a pack of chocolate and nibbling on it. "Izana's taking Bachelor in Elementary Education...courses in the Philippines are long, but I think he's taking the Preschool Education one. Takemichi's taking Fine Arts."

"Good thing they took college as an option," Takeomi laughed. "Unlike us dropouts."

"We're delinquents," Wakasa said. "Of course school's out of topic."

"How about we visit them?" Benkei suggested, earning surprised looks from the two. "I mean, we have stable jobs and we can at least afford a plane ticket."

"You have a point," Takeomi smiled. "It'll be nice to surprise them."

"Then get ready to ready your credit cards, bitches," Wakasa smirked. "It'll hurt our pockets."

"Don't forget to bring Haru and Senju too, Omi," Benkei suggested.

"I bet they want a break from university as well."

...

2017.

Takeomi sat down by the stone ground, crossing his legs as his elbows rested by his thighs. He clasped his hands together, praying before getting comfortable. He handed out a can of coke and placed it between him and the grave, opening his and chugging down on it. It's been two years since he died, but he still stayed in 2015, or even in 1995.

"Hey, Benkei," Takeomi looked at the name carved onto the cold stone, running his slender fingers onto the etched characters. "Remember when we first had our first victory? The time when Shinichiro was so bruised up then Wakasa got mad and added more bruises to him?"

He laughed, remembering such delectable memories of the past, where they were still such children. Unlike now, Shinichiro's going crazy, Wakasa as well, and Benkei's gone. The summer breeze brushed by his forehead, the scar in his eye as well. He closed his eyes for a second, before looking back at Benkei's grave.

"I hope I see you again, Keizo."

"Wakasa, don't run away from me," Shinichiro's voice ran over the halls, the lilac-eyed male trying to hide from him. He was in this room by the mansion, the door locked as he guarded it with his body, squatting over the door with his back resting on the cold wood. He had his hands on his ears, his eyes squinted close as he tried not to cry. His knees, bruised and bloody were close to his chest, his thin frame shaking in fear.

Shinichiro's at it again.

"Wakasa," The said man felt his presence over the other side, his footsteps stopping there. "Come out of there."

Wakasa didn't even mutter a single word, his breathing heavy and snappy. He then flinched when Shinichiro's fist banged on the door.

"WAKASA! Open the—open the door, please," He pleaded. "Wakasa, open the door..."

His body shook again and his heart jumped when another fist banged on the door.

"WAKASA! Can we not fight anymore, please? Can we not fight anymore?"

Wakasa felt the weight of his body lean over the door, making him unconsciously hurdle his knees closer to himself, taking strands of his hair and pulling it.

"WAKASA! Sure, you're scared, I've been there. I can set you free!"

A sudden silence fell. Wakasa then started to cry in fear when he heard a gun.

"WAKASA! Don't make me come in there! I'm gonna count to three!" He stopped and took a breath for a while, before screaming. "One! Two! Fuck it!"

Shinichiro put down his gun, groaning in anger and frustration. He glided his fingers through his fringe, looking back at the door.

"Wakasa, open the door or I'll force myself into the room," Shinichiro pointed the gun at the door, honing it so that Wakasa won't get hurt, for he knows he's leaning over the door. "I'm not afraid to shoot this gun and I know it may harm you, Wakasa."

Wakasa gave up. He stood up as fast as he can, fidgeting and struggling with the locks before snapping the door open. He avoided his obsidian eyes, as he felt his lover's smirk piercing onto his skin.

"Good boy," Shinichiro pocketed his gun, moving forward towards and holding his chin, forcefully turning his head to face him. Wakasa winced in pain as he felt a sharp click by his neck. "What a good boy, Wakasa."

He wanted to run, and he'll do anything to get help without hurting or turning Shinichiro in.
