💭 small bonus~!
2000年の秋。Autumn of 2000.
Wakasa found a big green box hiding in the back of Shinichiro's closet. He stared at it first before leaning into his curiosity and taking the box.
"That's heavy," Wakasa muttered as he was having a hard time pulling the box nearer to him. He finally did, resting it in front of him. He fixed his sitting position, from his legs crossed to kneeling down comfortably. He swiped the dust away and opened the box, revealing different kinds of old goods. It's a good thing Shinichiro isn't home...
yet.
There were a lot of things inside, like notebooks, storybooks, and old crayons. But one thing caught his eye. A big maroon book with gold Kanji written in the middle. It was an elementary yearbook. Of course, with Wakasa wanting to see his lover as a child, he immediately took that book and skimmed over it, looking for a familiar ravenette with dark obsidian eyes. There, he found him. And he felt himself melting.
A small child was seen in the photo, his hair down and his dark locks long. His black orbs still shone in serenity, a happy smile by his lips. Sano Shinichiro was written under it, Kanji painted in black printed ink.
"Cute~!" He squealed, gliding his fingers by his picture.
He knew Shinichiro was cute as a kid (said by Takeomi) but he didn't imagine he was THIS cute.
The lilac-eyed male pressed the open yearbook near to his chest, his eyes closed and smiling wide as he can. He was squealing so much that he didn't notice somebody enter.
"What are you squealing about?"
Wakasa flinched when he heard a familiar voice, and stopped when he realized who it was. He looked back, seeing an amused Shinichiro standing by the open door, a cigarette in between his lips.
"Shin-chan..."
"What's that in your chest?" Shinichiro's eyes then lay on the open box. He smiled, going towards him and sitting down behind him, pulling him closer to his lap. He rested his head on his shoulder, looking over what's he was holding. "Oh, my elementary yearbook."
"You shouldn't have shown me this," Wakasa tried his best to look uninterested and lazy like he was, but he knows he'll squeal once again if he sees the picture. "Your elementary yearbook, I mean."
"Takeomi was also there," He said, pushing the book away from Wakasa's chest to see the inside. He then turned some pages until he saw a familiar face. "That's him."
"He isn't cute," Wakasa admitted, going back to where Shinichiro's picture is. "But this is."
"You find me cute?" He looked at him by Wakasa's shoulder with a smile. "You think I'm cute?"
"Were cute."
"How about now?"
"Stop teasing me, it's annoying," Wakasa closed the book and put it back, looking for other stuff. Shinichiro just smiled and cuddled the smaller male in his lap.

2017, two weeks after the fight
"Shin-chan," Wakasa looked up to him as he lay his head on the ravenette's lap, a lollipop stick hanging by his lips. Shinichiro looked at him as he stroked his bi-coloured locks. "I want a baby."
The ravenette tilted his head in confusion, "But I'm your baby?"
"What I mean is a child, Shin-chan," He said, tapping his palm by his tummy. "Like, adopt one? I mean, we're already thirty..."
Shinichiro smiled, leaning down to place a small kiss on the leopard's forehead, "Well, I think we can."
His lilac eyes shone in excitement, a small smile painted by the corner of his lips, "Thank you, Shin-chan."
But, Wakasa still feels unsettle about Shinichiro and his attitude nowadays. He's been riding on this rollercoaster of emotions and fighting with him for days, but there are still times they just settle down and love each other. Takeomi had already warned Wakasa a thousand times about getting hurt under Shinichiro's care but knowing himself, he was too stubborn and in love to leave him. Yeah, he had several bruises from him but that's just a scratch compared to what he had in the past. Shinichiro, at least, went easy on him.
(Not like his father back then.)
"Anything for you, Wakasa."
He had a talk with Takeomi about this yesterday, and a trip to Benkei's grave just a day before. The eldest among them said that it can be at least, a stress reliever to Shinichiro even in just a small amount (though he knows, with experience himself, that taking care of children can add up to stress but also cleanse stress out of your body.) Benkei didn't answer, but Wakasa felt that calm serene smile he always had drawn by his lips, and that already was an answer to him.
...
They were on their way to the orphanage, right in front of Izana's daycare because the younger said that he sometimes took care of the children there and they were sweethearts. Shinichiro still couldn't believe Izana talked so sweetly, especially he knew, as an older brother, that he was a menace to society. The two just used one of Shinichiro's BMWs and wore casual clothes, as Wakasa wore a white button-up underneath a chocolate brown shirt, tucked in brown trousers and black heels. He had his hair down, parted in the middle with one strand of hair covering at least his right eye. His signature red earring still hung over his left ear and a matching pearl necklace with a red ruby pendant resting by his collarbone. Shinichiro had a lighter and more inviting colour scheme, having an olive green dress shirt tucked in washed jeans, feet clothed with white Derbys. He had his long dark fringe slicked back, and white diamond earrings on both of his ears.
Wakasa hopes this goes well because he knows Shinichiro loves children for he's an older brother. Let's see though, he isn't the same Shinichiro as before.
Just a few minutes driving, they've already arrived at their destination. In the parallel street was Izana's orphanage, the colours of his' opposite to the gloomy palette they were met. The orphanage looked like it was straight out of a horror movie, or even can be compared to the mansion owned by Count Olaf in "The Series of Unfortunate Events". Shinichiro parked the car at a designated parking spot for guests and turned off the engine, and Wakasa unbuckled his seat belt and hung his sling bag over his shoulder, stepping out of the car. The ravenette stepped out of the white BMW seconds after him, looking right at the gloomy building.
"That doesn't look like an orphanage," Shinichiro whistled, checking his car one last time before standing beside Wakasa. The bi-coloured male just had to nod in agreement.
"This looks like a prison rather than an orphanage," Wakasa commented, which made Shinichiro chuckle.
"Let's just go inside," Shinichiro offered his arm, which Wakasa gladly took, and went inside the orphanage.
