Me:Shut up, Onyx! I loved this game. Definitely GOTY candidate and I don't give a damn what anyone says.
Steven:True. RGG knocked this one out of the park. It really touched on a lot of topics that aren't really looked at.
Me:Bullying being a key one.
Pearl:This whole story was a result of the failure of human law.
Me: Normally I'd say you're just being full of yourself but you're right: Mikoshiba's bullying of Mitsuru and the entirety of events that followed were a result of how the law often fails us.
Onyx: It shows us how many escape true justice and how those who need to be saved don't always get saved.
Garnet:And it shows us the dangers of vengeance and how far some will go to achieve their own "Justice".
Me: But overall: It shows us that vengeance is never the answer. And while the law may fail us quite often, there's no justice in taking the law into your own hands.
Steven:But what about the characters and gameplay? Yagami shined of course but what about the others?
Me:Gotta say: Even though he was a villain, I liked Kuwana/Kitakata. He was a very interesting character and I always enjoyed the scenes he was in. And once the first few layers fell back and we saw the truth about him? I couldn't wait to see what happened next.
Amethyst:Saori played a much bigger role in this game. Gotta love her.
Connie:Hmm. Maybe Soma for me.
Me:Of course you'd choose the asshole.
Connie: He was handsome. What?
Me:*holds ice pick to her throat* Say one more word and I'll stab you like Soma did Sawa.
Onyx:And on that note, let's move on!
