Taehyung's POV

I ran out of the house after the arrival of Yuu's little guest ,May, but half way I realized I forgot my phone.
Shit.
I turned around towards the house but when I reached it I saw May sitting outside on the footpath. I stood at her side and stared at her and then the house.

"Why are you sitting here?"

"That meanie kicked me out!!" She whined.

"Who? Yuu?" Yuu wouldn't do that.

"No! That ugly Alpha!"

I snickered. "Just because he kicked you out, he's ugly?"

"Yeah he is! He's ugly at heart."

I crouched down and ruffled her head, "Yeah he is ugly. But you should go home now."
I stood up. I guess he's in a bad mood. I'll get my phone some other time. I turned to leave.

"Didn't you come back for something?"

"I did. But it can wait and I'd like to avoid meeting both of them right now."

"Why?"

"...." I ignored her question and continued walking, after a while of walking I realized someone was following me.
I stopped in my position and turned around.

"Why are you following me?"

"In hopes you'll let me stay."

"Kid! I don't own that place, that house belongs to the ugly guy who kicked you out."

"I'm not a kid."

I folded my arms, "Really now? How old are you?"

"Sixteen."

"You're a kid. Now go back home."

"I can't! I live far far away!"

"Then go live with shrek."

"I tried, he kicked me out."

I laughed. She actually referred to Jungkook as shrek.
Ahh. I don't have time for this. I turned around and started running.
Then stopped suddenly and May crashed into my back.

"Hey! Why'd you stop suddenly??!"

"I told you to go back home. Don't follow me."

"And I told you I can't. I have to stay here."

"But why me!!!?? Go stay at a hotel or something."

"I'm broke."

"How the hell did you reach here then?"

"I mean I wasn't broke before but on my way I was robbed. So now I'm penny less."

"What the fuck!!?"

"Hey! Don't curse in front of a kid."

I gritted my teeth in frustration.
"Listen here kid. I don't have any time to fucking spare for you." I glared at her, my eyes turning red, "You better not get on my nerves!" I growled at her.

She backed down, clearly frightened of me, joined her lips tight and looked down.
I sighed, turned and walked away.

She didn't follow me, I guess she got how angry I was. I was already frustrated enough, I didn't need a broke teenage girl with nowhere to go to follow me.

I stopped.

Turned around and walked back to her.
Shit.
This is exactly why I'm not gonna get anywhere in life.
Why do I care?

A little walk back and I saw her crouched in a small ball on the side of the footpath.

"Get up."

She raised her head and looked at me, then buried her face down again.

"I'm not going to say it again. I'll let you stay at the pack house. There are only five females but they'll let you stay."

She looked up again and pouted, her eyes becoming teary.

Ahhhh... Nooooo.

"Okay. I'm sorry. Just- don't cry."

She just stared at me.
I sighed and picked her up, tossing her over my shoulder I started walking.

"Hey!" I ignored her, I've already wasted enough time.

Ian, my Second in command, stared at me in amusement, "Why are you carrying a kid with you?"

"I'm not a kid!!!" After being quite for a long time she finally spoke up, "I'm sixteen!!"

"Yup a kid."

"Bring the girls out-" I saw Lucy, one of females of the gang,  "Lucy!!" I called out to her.

She saw me even though she was on the second floor. She jumped from right there and landed smoothly on the ground.

"Woooow." May was admiring her with her head still upside down.
I should put her down.
I placed her down and then turned to Lucy, "Is there a spare room?"

"Yeah tons."

"Give one to her."

"Are you bringing in strays again?"

"..." I shook my head, "No."

"Yeah right, you always brought in stray animals and now it's turned into bringing in kids." She examined May.

"I'm not a kid god damn it!!!! I'm turning seventeen in a few weeks!!!"

I opened my mouth to argue with Lucy but I didn't exactly have any words to say.
"She's not a stray. Just let her stay here for a while. She'll leave once she finds a place to live."

I turned to leave when Lucy stopped me, "Taehyung, we'll compromise with this one but now you're an Alpha leader, you have an image to maintain. Don't pick up any other strays."

I nodded and Lucy left.
Ian placed his hand on my shoulder, "You had a habit of picking up strays? Best leave that habit. Alpha's can't be soft, especially when it comes to leaders."

I know.
This was the last time.
It's time to move forward anyway.
