Taehyung's POV

I sat beside May's bed with her hand in mine, remembering the every little stuff about the time we spend together.
Maybe that's why they say being too happy is a curse, the balance of the world will eventually lead you to something that'll make you cry.

"I wonder, when was it when I fell for you?
From the very moment you entered my life I found you such an amusing person.
So cheerful and jolly, friendly and mischievous but most of all, strong. You were strong. The strongest person I had ever known in life." My voice trembled as I tried to continue talking. "You created a place for yourself so effortlessly it was astonishing." I took a deep breath, trying to stablize myself before continuing, "When you were there and when you weren't you were constantly on my mind. All the pack members got attached to you." I pursed my lower lip, "Jin told me you wanted your omega genes eliminated because you wanted to truly be a part of the pack with your Alpha genes." I smiled, a rather broken smile, "You little idiot you were already part of the pack long before you even realized it."

I paused and sighed, everything felt so eerie.

"Now that I think about it, I never even told you how much I liked you. I was never even able to tell you those words you told me so many times."
I looked at her pale face, her eyes closed.

"May, I love you."
I gulped, holding back my tears.

"I love you May." It was no use. I couldn't hold it in and warm tears rolled down my cheeks as I held her hand tighter, "I love you so much... Please, don't leave me like this. "

There was a knock on the door and Sherry came in, "May's school friends are here." I nodded and went out for a while.
"Taehyung you should get some rest, you haven't slept in ages."

"But- she just doesn't wake up." I said in a low voice and Sherry looked me with a painful look.

"Just an hour till her friends are here. Just one hour. Please." She begged me.

I nodded, "One hour."

A month went by like that and I came to see her everyday, I talked to her about my day and the members.
I took her hand in both of mine.

"It's been a month May. You're still not waking up? Every one is waiting for you. Please. You can't lose this fight."

The door creaked open and I looked to find Jimin standing there. He came in and sat next to me.

"It's gotten cold." He said.

"Yea." I looked down, "I'm sorry I didn't send her over to you and kept her here."

"She likes it here better. Besides I know she'll wake up."

"Even though the operation failed?" Jin was already beating himself up about it, but it wasn't like he had killed her, I know he tried his best.

"Hmm. He didn't exactly fail." He nodded, "Don't you too? That's why you're here everyday."

I smiled. I know, I know she'll wake up.

I stared at the heart monitor, her heart was beating faintly. It had been like that for a while. I looked at the clock. It was going to be midnight soon.

"You know." I diverted my attention to May, "It's going to be my birthday in a few minutes. Should we celebrate together?" I asked her but ofcourse I was met with no answer. After this long I had really run out of things to say so I just blankly stared at the time as minutes ticked by, the clock struck twelve.

"Happy birthday Taehyung."

Beautiful memories should be cherished. I say, these should be burned in your mind. Like the memory I'm making today with the most beautiful person in my life.

"Do you Kim Taehyung take May Park as your lawfully wedded wife?"

"I do."

"And do you May Park take Kim Taehyung as your lawfully wedded husband?"

"I do."

Roars of cheers surrounded us I burned this beautiful moment into my memory for it to be cherished forever.

I slowly leaned in and kissed her gently.

"I love you May."

"I love you too Taehyung."
