May's POV

As school ended I picked up my bag and walked out of class where I was met with Gabby. She handed me something and left. I looked at the card in my hand and opened it up. It had alot of decoration, yet only had one line written on it.

Happy birthday

And it wasn't just from her, rather it was a combine wish from the whole class.
For some reason it made me happy.  Maybe school wasn't so bad.

Then I got a call from Jimin.

"Hey~ Happy seventeen Baby sis."

"Thanks."

"So what do you want for your birthday?"

"Um, nothing really."

"You sure? That's odd. You always wanted something."

"How about you come visit me?"

"Visit you?" He thought about it for a while, "I'm sorry May, right now that's impossible. Why want me to visit you?"

"No. Nothing." I couldn't tell him that I felt lonely, it was my first time being away from home on my birthday, actually it was my first time away from home at all. Today I suddenly realized that and it made me a bit sad.

"Well okay then. I have to leave."

"OK. Bye."

He hung up and I walked to the pack house. It was how it usually is. Some members in the lounge while some groups were out on patrol. I looked around. I guess Taehyung was out too.
I wondered if there was some cake or cupcake in the fridge. Well it wouldn't be mine so I can't take it. I went straight for my room on the fourth floor. As I opened the door I was shocked. It was full of balloons and a big present box lay on the bed.
I went and opened it, there was a pretty black dress in it along with below knee black boots. Both the dress and boots had such a simple but elegant style, I loved it.  Then I noticed the card tucked under the box, I picked it up and opened it.

Happy birthday May. I hope you liked the gift. I don't really know if it was up to your liking or not but I hope it's not that bad and sorry I'm not home to wish you directly I had patrol duty today.

Taehyung

This was the most unexpected yet the best birthday present and the fact that it was from Taehyung made it all the more special. I held the card near my chest. I could feel my heart beat get a bit faster. A warm bubbly feeling filling me inside and my happiness knew no bound.
I looked at the dress again. I should try it on.

I stood infront of the mirror mentally screaming at how cute the dress looked.

"Hey May-?" Sherry entered the room and paused when she saw the balloons and me dressed up.

"Y-yes Sherry?'

"What's all this? Is there a special occasion?"

"No. Not really."

"You're dressed up." She narrowed her eyes and looked at me suspiciously, when I didn't respond she noticed the card on the bed.

Oh no! I ran to grab it but she was faster, she grabbed it before me and read it. For a moment she didn't say anything. Of course she wouldn't. It would be so strange to a pack member that her Alpha leader is doing this for someone like me.

"May?" Her voice was stern.

"Y-yes?" I was nervous. It's a rule in the pack that they don't celebrate birthdays, they just wish each other at most and for me who isn't even a member to get such a nice gift...

"It's your birthday and you didn't even tell us!!!'

"Huh?!" She wasn't angry or surprised.

"This calls for a party!!!"

"Party?! But why?"

"Why not? None of us can celebrate, we'll just celebrate yours!!!"
