Taehyung's POV

I waited the whole day for Yuu. One class after another but he didn't show up.

Strange. I know he bunks his classes but always stays in university grounds so he doesn't get caught by his family.
But he was no where to be found. I double checked the whole effin place but he wasn't there.

Did he get in trouble?

I called him, it rang but no one picked up. It was making me anxious. Where did he go?
As I was about to run to his house I got a message

Yuu: "I'm fine."

Well at least he's okay.

Where are you?

I asked him but he never answered. He already said he's fine but I couldn't shake off the feeling that something was wrong.
Yet I decided that it was a useless feeling I was having and I discarded the idea of going to his house, which I shouldn't have.

"Hyung. It's past midnight." I said , "You're just over analizing stuff!" I said to Jin Hyung, my older brother, as he kept ranting on about Yuu and that something was wrong with her results.

He roamed around his office rereading the test results.

"There's something wrong. You say I'm overreacting but I know something is wrong."  He said and scratched his head, "Something is abnormal here but I can't pin point it!"

Suddenly there was a knock on the door.

"Hyung..." The voice was feeble yet I recognized it, "Jin Hyung....?"

Jin looked at the door while I went beind the curtains in hope she won't come here. If she finds out I knew from the start she was girl it might be a problem.

Jin opened the door.

"Yuu..."

"That's not my name."

"I know." Jin said,"What brings you here at this time?"

I couldn't see that well from behind the curtains but I saw her climb up the bed and take off her clothes.
For a moment it startled me and I turned away a bit embarrassed, but then I heard Jin's horrified voice.

"What... What happened?"
I looked at her bare back. It was full of bruises.
My heart sank.

"

I made an unreasonable... demand to my mother."

A demand? What demand? Why would she do that?

"Oh kid..." He went around in front of her, "Why would you do that? What did you ask for?"

"I... Must have lost my mind."

He stroked her cheek. Jin always pitied her. Not me though. I have different feelings for her.
"What did you ask?"

"To move out."

To move out?!
Wait?! Is this about what she promised Jungkook?!?!
I got angry. Why wouldn't I? Why must she get hurt for him? Why?!?!
"I'll get the medicines for you." Leaving her there he walked to the this side of the curtain.

"Don't get angry." He whispered to me,"There's nothing I can do about it."  He looked at me, took a deep breath and calmed himself, indicating me to do the same.
It was hard. I know I was sent to be her friend. To make sure nothing gets out of hand but to me she's a true friend.
Someone I want to protect.
And even though I gritted my teeth and clenched my fist at that time, I really just wanted to run out and pull her into my embrace.

I wish I had.
