Your POV

The dinner at the table was awkward as hell. There was me sitting in the center. Jungkook who sat right infront of me. His mother who sat on my left and his father who sat on the main chair at the end. We all ate quietly. Actually. It was impossible to eat, the atmosphere was so tense I just couldn't swallow anything at all.
I'm glad I decided to take the soup, one way or another it's going down my throat.

Mr.Jeon placed her spoon down.
"It's quite interesting." She turned to me, "I never noticed all these years that you were a girl." Tucked my hair behind my ear, "A very pretty one at that."
I froze. Jungkook and Mr.Jeon kept eating in silence. I don't get it. Why is there such an awkward air? They were such a happy family.
I looked at Mrs.Jeon, "Um, Thank you?" I gave her a faint smile.
She smiled back.

"So?" Mr.Jeon spoke, "Any progress?"

"Yes father." Jungkook replied.

Father? Didn't he call him dad?

"I hope there won't be any mistakes?"

Jungkook nodded at the question.
It felt strange and very very familiar. I was reminded of the time when I used to have dinner with my family. This situation, it's so similar to that. Why? What happened during the past nine months, that it escalated to this? I know what this feels like. I glanced at Jungkook who had his eyes glued to the plate.
I'm getting such atrocious feeling. I looked down at my own plate.

"I'm Done." Jungkook stood up, "I'll be leaving." He walked to me and extended his arm, "Let's go."

"You're done eating aren't you?"

I blinked at him, "Uh-Yeah." I didn't give him my hand but he just grabbed my wrist and started walking away.

He was leading me back to my room, "Let my wrist go." I demanded and he complied.
As soon as he let me go we both stopped in our path.

"Go to your room."

"I don't want to."

He closed his eyes in frustration for a moment then opened them as he sighed, "I'm sorry-"

"Don't apologize!!"

"I'm sorry-" I slapped him hard across the face but he raised his face again.
"You can hit me as many times you want, for how long long you want as long as you can forgive me-"

"Don't get the wrong idea, I won't be forgiving you! I hate-"

"I love you." He cut off my words to declare his.

"W-what? You still have the guts to say that? After what you did?"

"Yea. Because I love you."

"If you did you would have been there nine months ago!"

"I'm sorry! I know I'm at fault, I know! Believe me I-I," He was breaking down. I've never seen him so frustrated.
He fell to his knees.
"I wasn't here when all that was happening with you."

Eh? He wasn't here? True, he was gone for a few days before that incident. But wait no! I was there for two more days, if he had gotten in touch with any of my closest people he would've reached me. Is he lying?
I stared at him as he looked up at me in desperation.

"I've lost so much Yuu. I don't want to lose you too."
There was a mixture of emotions in his eyes. Sadness, guilt, sorrow, anguish, pain and desperation. It was overwhelming. I, had never seen him this weak. "Yuu, I'd do anything for you to forgive me."

I turned around, "You already lost me nine months ago." I walked away.

Why? I really wonder why? I keep feeling so uneasy.
I was at the end of the hall when I glanced back at him. He still hadn't stood up.
I paused to look at him. If only it hasn't happened, maybe we would've been something different.
But now, I don't want anything.
I turned around, turned left, then paused.
Wait. It's my chance. I'm not being locked up. I turned to around and ran, to the end of the hall, down the stairs, to the main door, out of the mansion.

No one followed me out.
