look what you did

you were always listening
always there,
always just right there
it's funny how i didn't realise
that you were writing all my faults down,
all my fears
everything that could hurt me.
you were plotting my downfall and i never even knew.
you gave me wounds that will never heal
you gave me scars that will linger on my body till i die
you put me through hell, and for what?
what did you gain from it?
nothing
you gained nothing.
you didn't change anything about me physically.
but mentally?
that's a whole different story.
and after, you just tried to walk back into my life like nothing happened?
did you think i was gonna let you back in?
did you think we would be fine?
did you think i would put it in the past?
no i didn't
and i never will.
