The naive girl.

Whatever happens to me,
I Know it's for the better.
I can feel the thickness in the air,
The pressure in my chest.
History repeats itself, right?
But why does it have to repeat on my time line.
Haven't I gone through enough pain already?
The sitting on my bedroom floor,
heart racing,
hands trembling,
thinking about who I was going to sit with the next day.
But the difference in age doesn't matter,
Me being 7 and in this sticky situation would be the exact same if I was 15.
They just approach you differently.
One could be a giant bus, going at full speed, heading straight for you.
While the other could be an assassin with a silencer on his gun.
I always fall into these traps, it's like I never mature.
I'll always be the naive one.
Always catching people when they fall but when I fall, they're the ones who pushed me and laugh when I have grazed knees and gravel ridden hands.
Maybe I need to let everyone go and live my life alone, away from assassins and wary of those who come into my life.
