I fell to the ground with a huff as the guards pushed us inside the small room. Most of the others were already there including Raven and Abby. Well, I guess they're back.
"Hey, you okay?" Miller asked helping me off the ground.
Nodding, I dusted off my pants. "Yup just great actually."
"Oh I'm fine by the way," Murphy said, gripping his still bleeding leg which Abby quickly helped patch up.
"Can someone tell me what's going on?" I questioned once I noticed Madi handcuffed to the wall. "Wheres Jordan?"
"Do you want to tell her or should we?" Miller asked the young girl who just sent him a glare. "Fine, Madi here decided to execute two of the primes and then tried to execute Priya."
"What?!" My eyes widened.
"Oh, that's not all. While trying to stab Priya she stabbed Jordan instead." Miller was almost raising his voice at this point, obviously angry at the girl.
Taking another look at the group of people I noticed that Echo and Gaia were also missing. "Wheres Echo and Gaia?"
The group shrugged, "They're out there somewhere, hopefully planning a way out of this," Jackson added.
Hours passed and I was beginning to get hungry, instantly regretting skipping breakfast that morning. My stomach growled causing my cheeks to glow a shade of red from embracement.
"You hungry or somethin'?" Raven asked noticing. This caused everyone to look at me.
Stuttering, I wasn't sure what to say, knowing they had all been through worse.
Murphy scoffed at me from his position on the floor. "This is nothing. When we first got to the ground we went a solid week without eating."
"Beats eating people," Madi muttered under her breath. This caused Miller, Jackson, and Abby to tense up.
"Remember when the smoke shack burned down?" Raven asked throwing her head back at the memory.
Miller chuckled to himself. "Yeah, we had to go hunting for days to make up for what we lost. That's when I caught my first boar."
"Hey isn't that also when Clarke, Finn, and Ari got kidnapped by grounders?" Raven questioned.
I perked up at the sound of my mother's name. "No only Clarke and Finn got kidnapped, Ari was able to escape and hide in the trees," Miller noted.
Murphy let out a sigh, "She did have a thing for climbing trees."
"Well, it saved her life on many occasions. She was a badass."
"Can you tell me more?" I asked Miller.
He gave me a smile and went to tell another story when Madi cut him off.
"We're kinda being held against our will right now, maybe we shouldn't take a trip down memory lane."
The harsh tone caused me to feel even more embarrassed. Raven nudged my shoulder slightly. "Just ignore her." and that's what we did.
It was hours before we heard any news from the guards, the sun had set and risen before one of the many men in uniform walked in. Followed by Simone, Russell's wife. Everyone perked up at her entrance.
"We have decided on a punishment for the girl's crime. One of you will be executed in 13 hours. Lucky for you, you get to choose who." Simone's face was red, her brows scrunched together.
The anger radiated off of her and it was honestly kind of scary.
"It's gonna be me, isn't it?" Murphy said pacing around the room once Simone and the other guards left.
