Just letting you guys know that most of this is bullshit science I made up. None of it is real or even in the Marvel universe. Some of it is somewhat included in Marvel, but most of it is just from my own fictional creativities. I'm just trying to make it make sense in scientific terms. 😅If you know what I mean.

Thursday - 9pm before Y/n's procedure.

"Okay, walk me through it doc" Tony said as he sat down in one of the labs with the doctors who were going to be doing your procedure.

"This is a very simple procedure. All we will need to do is inject this substance we reformulated in the area of damage, and we will do tests to see how well she takes it"

"Hmm," Tony said, leaning back in his chair.

"And this won't hurt her-"

They both turned to the door where they heard a small thud, but no one came in, so they ignored it. Ummm okay.

"I am certain, it will not. However, that isn't the tricky part of this procedure. Our doctors were quick to think of a solution to the damage that has been caused on Y/n's body, specifically her spine and reformulated one of our already existing substances to fit for Y/n's injury."

"What's the substance made out of and how is it supposed to affect her body?"

The doctor stood up to retrieve a small silver case from a closed glass shelf behind him and opened in front of Tony.

"We haven't developed a name for it yet since we are constantly developing and making it a better cure. It mainly consists of extracts from a vibranium infused plant we call Tahalokanil. It has similar properties to the heart-shaped herb granting enhanced abilities such strength, stamina, durability, speed, and more. In the original injections, we only extracted enough Tahalokanil to separate the particles that cause enhanced abilities and made sure to only collect specific particles and molecules only enough to heal-"

"Why not add the particles with the enhanced ability thing?" Tony asked.

"Well, you see, a long time ago, even before we became doctors, we did this exact same procedure with the substance and injections to heal humans and animals. And although they were certainly healed, we found that the cells in their bodies could not handle it. So we made many more solutions and did more tests for the solution to be compatible with humans, animals, and all living things, and all we've reached so far is just separating the properties that cause healing. We haven't found a solution with the enhanced properties that are compatible with humans and animals yet."

"We've had many volunteers for the tests, and they've all had similar reactions. There is one compatibility, though, and that is if someone carries a specific gene or cell that mutates with the enhanced properties. Or so we've only read, since we haven't found a human or animal that is capable of that yet."

"What exactly happened to those who took the injections with the properties that caused enhancement?" He now had his fist tucked under his chin, invested in the understanding of the origin of the injections they were about to use on you.

"They didn't pass thankfully, but there were strange and some painful side effects. Such as hallucinations, change of colour in the skin, change in appetite, hormones, all those types of factors. Which is why it's so difficult to find a viable solution to fix the issue of the compatibility with this plant solution. Because we are all struggling to understand the reason for the side effects. And because each person and animal all have different side effects-"
