Every second that ticked, felt like a ridiculous amount of time wasted as you layed stuck, helplessly on the wall of the conference room. Peter really webbed you up pretty good because your neck was starting to hurt from the strain of letting you stay upright. Your hands were too bound for you to activate your bracelet without hurting you so that was not an option just yet.

You weren't usually the one to give up but your movements began to slow down as you were sinking into a pit that you couldn't get out from. But as if the universe heard your doubtful thoughts, it sent a sign..

A video footage on the hologram popped up from the front screen, showing what looked to be an explosion. It was quite a big bright ball of orange, surrounded by the grey of the smoke. Although you wanted to see more, you had to look away when you saw figures of bodies being flung around. It was too hard to watch, it was trully painful.

This time you couldn't stay there and wait, so you gave your muscles all your power, kicking shoving and grunting hard to free yourself off the webs.

You only needed the right motivation.

You weren't about to wait for the worst when you could be out there helping.

Once your bracelet was able to activate without hurting you, you cut the webs loose and finally raced out of the compound, taking a cab to go the location of the mission. You didn't really have a plan. You were just going to help whoever needed it.

You knew what you were doing was risky. Some might call what your doing stupid and even reckless but you saw it differently.

You were going to save some lives. And you were gonna do it the right way. No matter what you thought that was.

If your father found out what you were doing right now, he would've called you an idiot. In truth, you just had what it took. Not many people had that..

You would rather run towards danger, than away from it if the situation calls for it.

Upon arriving near the scene as the cab wouldn't allow any more access, the damage and chaos that scattered everywhere was overwhelming. Smoke filled the air all around amongst the voices of panic and fear clamouring with the destruction of land and vehicles. What alarmed you the most was the sounds of heavy weaponry being used. Surprisingly, the sounds didn't sound like gunshots only but violent blasts. You didn't carry an artificial intelligence with you so you were basically going against these attackers blind. It was hard to tell with the amount of people rushing as more of them came to view. More attackers kept arriving and soon the worry of being outnumbered was making you doubt the team's ability to fight off such amount. You'd just hope their level of skill and durability overpowers the advantages the attackers had on their side which was quantity.

You assessed your surroundings first, finding spots to hide and trying to locate where the bombs were placed. It wasn't a big help as you had no A.I to assist you but you were still trying your best with what you had at the moment.

You were already proven useful immediately as you helped a lady with her dog under bits of rubble as soon as you arrived. Even just that simple hand made you feel so accomplished and responsible and you were, even though it was a simple and easy one, you still felt something good from doing it. You just hoped you were doing the right thing, although deep in your heart you were, you felt something was off. And it's not that you felt guilty of being there without your dad knowing, but more like the consequences there were, that you weren't aware of. That's what you were feeling.
