It had been a decent day for you at school, doing the same old, same old, walking into class, going to lunch then going home, but you couldn't help but admit that your small group of friends made the journey somewhat enjoyable, that's why most days you felt satisfied after leaving to go home. Although your knowledge and perception of everything was way advanced than many to those that attend Midtown High, you felt like attending school and experience the average teenage life will help you in the long run, so all in all, you were only doing yourself a small favour. Even your dad was okay if you didn't attend highschool because to be truthful, you really didn't need it, you learnt most things from the people in the compound anyway, so to say that you were doing alright in school was an understatement.

Peter was coming back with you to the compound, to help your dad advancing his suit, adding more web shooter combinations or even a more bullet proof material for the skin, which you suggested. You could've asked Peter to just swing you both there, but seeing his tired and exhausted frame, he did not look put up for it, so you left the thought aside, not wanting to bother him furthermore.

A memory suddenly flashed in your head, remembering a very important memory; the time when Peter collapsed by your bedroom door of the compound, to see his pale face, and lifeless eyes. His body was sweating and he tried to mumble a little help but before he could do so, he fainted right in front of you. He went by the roof of the compound so no one could see him, not wanting to let Tony worry about his sick state, thinking that he would be fine. He didn't know why he was feeling that way but soon it was all revealed the next day when he woke to up to experience his abilities being heightened, everything around him feeling new and improved. When you placed Peter on that bed, you immediately asked your own AI, (A/I), to send Tony up to your bedroom.

Tony immediately had F.R.I.D.A.Y scan Peters body which eventually was revealed by the both of you, that the way his body seemed to be responding to whatever bacteria was attacking him, was different...Abnormal. You couldn't help but feel ill too seeing your best friend, so sick, so pale, almost resembleling a corpse. It was like you were getting drained, you didn't know what to feel because you never know when his last days will come. You might've watched too many of those sappy, romantic movies which you have grown to hate but, deep down you knew that the movies were somewhat accurate. After all, death itself was inevitable and you couldn't be more scared for Peter at that moment.

Tony suggested to let Peter rest and call him up again once he wakes up. Peter might not be Tony's son, but he still cares for the kid almost as much as he cared for you.

Knowing that you were there for him from the very beginning before his superhero duties, gave Peter a sense of relief, realising that he can trust someone with helping him through his journey. Not only that, but he knew that you were someone special that was meant to be in his life.
