"Peter, you have to go to school!" You groaned, trying to pry his arms off your body.

Your alarm had currently gone off 20 minutes ago and Peter was still not out of your bed. You were more than capable to go to school since your only in a wheelchair but you decided to take the rest of the week off to heal some pain that buried itself deeper than bone and flesh. Although, Peter had no physical issues, he experienced quite a bit of trauma the previous day, and that left a little part of him shaken up. Oblivious to you both, the response from that trauma for him, was not letting go of you right now.

Almost loosing you, rattled him to the core and his brain was now acting up as a defence. He wasn't aware, nor was he ready to face his demons lurking in the back of his mind. He definitely needed some healing time too because those wounds were still too fresh and it needs some time to heal before its confronted again.

"No, I don't want to go" He mumbled into your shirt.

"Tell me one reason why" You huffed, still in bed.

"I just, dont want to" He shrugged.

Peter loosened his arms around you as he moved to lay on the side you were facing, careful not to manoeuvre too much for the sake of your injury.

You scanned his eyes to try and read him but you didn't even have to as you can hear the weakness in his voice and the pain that settled into his frown. It was a very draining energy even just for you to look at him so you moved your gaze away.

"Okay, maybe you need to take a few days off too" You sighed, wishing that things could've gone better.

This was the last week of school before you'd be going in to your last year of school next year. There wasn't anything that had to be really done. All exams and assignments were done for the both of you so there wasn't much to worry about other than the minor attendance rate.

Despite the sinking mood, Peter managed to smile and chirp to get you out of bed. He showered you like how he did last night and it felt a little more comforting since this is the second time. First times are always the worst, and you were glad that was out of the way now. He had no issues with helping you whatsoever because he enjoyed feeling that accomplishment of doing the good. Especially when it came to helping people.

That's way he and May do. They help people. He learned that from the best.

The early sun was angling towards your bathroom perfectly through the windows with those gorgeous, dazzling rays of light which Peter took a picture of. He couldn't help it, he loved taking photos that gave him a sense of feeling. That was just one of the ways he expresses himself.

Unfortunately the beautiful picture was ruined by you sulking in the background in the bathtub with a playful frown and your arms crossed over to cover your chest with soap and bubbles still on you as Peter left you to take a mirror selfie.

You couldn't tell why but Peter was in a better mood already despite the events that occurred yesterday. He tried to bury it so that he wouldn't be in a shitty mood all the time.

Little did he know, that you were the one that was making him feel better. You were his unknown cure.

The water ran warm under your skin as Peter made sure to lightly wash you. He was more energetic now, bopping to an ongoing song in his head, tapping your skin playfully with his hands and fingers. He even sung you a few songs, some were sung beautifully and some that made his voice crack without his control.
