Tsukie's POV

We landed back home, and my father was there to take us home in the SUV. We opened the car door to my brother and father laughing at us. My mother couldn't help but laugh as well as I covered my face, ready for this to be over. I texted Kyojuro that I was home and worried that I scared him away from my stunt the other day because he never said anything to me afterwards. While my family was laughing at the situation, I dreaded the whole thing. My phone buzzed, and I looked down at the text from him.

Kyo: Sorry, baby, my parents have been interrogating me about what you said the other day, and we are trading out members. It's been hell here.

Me: I'm sorry about that. It was the first thing I could think of.

Kyo: You were brilliant. I mean, we had witnesses and everything. Still, want to do our date tomorrow?

Me: I thought you would never ask.

My heart jumped eagerly to see him again. Once the teasing of my family was over, we actually had a decent night. Unfortunately, Kyojuro was still busy with the issue with Singapore. Instead, I talked to Mitsuri and Kanae over the phone before going to sleep. Waking up to my alarm brought a smile to my face knowing that I could see him today. While documenting the new client, it seemed like time was moving so slowly, and the afternoon was coming so slowly.

Once getting closer to the time I was supposed to meet him, I changed into my gym clothes and grabbed a back so that I could change afterward. Then, driving to his house, I tried to keep my heart from beating out of my chest. It wasn't nerves I was feeling. It was tension. Tension from the make-out sessions, the sex dreams, the close calls to us actually having sex, and calling out his name when I was alone.

Driving up to the house, I had mixed feelings. As I knocked on the door, Ruka's face greeted me with a soft smile.

"Hello dear," she said, ushering me into a hug. "He's already in the private gym. Go on ahead."

Walking down the halls felt different this time. Before, it was like walking into my house, which was warm and welcoming. While we were fighting, it felt like a cage. Now, it felt like a chapter was about to end. Opening the door to their gym, I saw the flame-haired male without his shirt already dripping with sweat dripping down his bareback.

"You already started?" I asked, trying to stop my mind from going to the lewd thoughts.

"I needed to get some anger out from yesterday, and I didn't want to take it out on you," he said, smiling at me as I sat my bag down and took my jacket off.

"Now, Kyo, you know that I still beat you either way," I said, starting to stretch and warm up.

He chuckled at me as he warmed up alongside me. It took me a little extra time to stretch my shoulder.

"Have you practiced with your sword yet?" He asked, making small talk.

"Yes, but I still need more training with it. The stupid thing feels heavier, but when I talked to Kanae last night, she said that it's just because I need to get my strength back," I said.

"So, your muscle is healed and attached?" He asked, and I couldn't help but smile at him. "What?"

"You make me happy; you know that?" I said out loud, and a slight blush started on his cheeks.

"Where is this coming from?" He asked, smiling. I just shrugged my shoulders and stood up, holding out my hand.

We started sparing our movements a little too rigid, and I couldn't tell why that was. We were making solid hits on each other, but it didn't feel like we were afraid to hit each other it was something else. I jumped up high, wrapping my legs around his head, his face buried in my thighs, but as I was about to jerk my body weight back to bring him down, I looked down, seeing his eyes narrowing up at me. This caused my eye to widen as I fell out of the rotation, which had me landing hard on my back.

My breath was shaky, not from the fall, but from the many fantasies, I had about that same look between my legs. He came into view as I was calming down.

"Are you ok? You never fall out of rotation like that," he asked, concerned.

"I'm just rusty," I lied, sitting up facing away from him. 'Calm down,' I kept repeating myself.

He knew I was lying but chose to not call me out on it. We continued to spar, and our movements were still ridged. It wasn't flowing like how we used to. 'Maybe that's because you want to bang him,' I said to myself, which allowed him to twist my arms around me and pinned my chest to the wall with him close behind me.

He let go as I turned to face his red face. The tension in the room was getting thicker by the moment, and we were getting sloppier with our movements. Getting back into it, we went on for another few minutes until I swept my leg under Kyojuro, causing him to fall. I took the chance to get above him and make the final blow, but I stopped myself realizing the position we were in.
